I recently visited the Telus Spark in Calgary with my daughters. We have been in different science museus and interactive expositions in the world, and maybe this was the reason that we didn't enjoyed more this center. There is several activities and interactive expositions for pre high school youngsters, but there is almost everything that there is to see. In... More

For the younger children its a great opportunity to learn lots of things. Its a science museum with interactive exhibits, multimedia presentations and educational demonstrations. There is an outdoor adventure space called Brainasium, the kids will love it.

We were impressed by the large amount of hands on things to learn with when we went to Spark with our 3 year olds. The place is awesome and very interactive. Don't forget to leave time for the amazing playground outside.

For the younger children this is an excellent opportunity. I visit regularly with my 4 year old grandson (have been since he was 1) and as a teacher have done many field trips with grade 3. Feedback from the division 2 teachers is that their students enjoy it but could not spend a whole day there.

A friend of mine and I decided to take our daughters to Telus Spark for the day but I was amazed that for one adult and a three year old for admission and a ticket to the dome show was $46!!!!! We were already there so we decided to make the most of the day. The first exhibit was okay... More

We visited the Telus Spark as a group and spend several hours there. While a lot of effort has gone into the building design and most exhibits, if you have been to other Science type centres, this one is a bit pedestrian. It is really good for younger kids who have not had the experience before, but if you have... More

We always take our grandchildren here when they visit from the states. They have a similar place in Detroit but they say ours is better.Great hands on experiences & they also enjoy the outdoor place group.

Expensive for a couple to go to when it is basically just a large kids playground. The old science centre seems to have better fixed attractions. Sometimes the exhibits are AWESOME!

Forget the pen & paper for a while and enjoy a few hours entertaining your curiosities. It's a pleasant atmosphere even when you stop to consider the amount of people (mostly children) all around. You may actually learn something new by watching someone else's hands on experience, but I find the experience intriguing being consumed by my own hands on.... More
