What an exciting place to go Christmas Shopping. The grounds are transformed into one great big shopping area. There were lots of vendors which sell outstanding gifts. The traditional food such as poppy seed rolls and stollen are just like mother made. Wish there were more areas to enjoy lunch or coffee.

We have been living in Calgary for 11 years and will never miss the Spruce Meadows Christmas fair. Part of our family tradition now and not ever disappointed. Packed with variety. Be a little careful with buying certificates. We bought our son a Blacksmith experience last year and he has been given the full run around trying to get it... More

Spruce Meadows Christmas market must be the last beautiful market in town . So many local vendors , beautiful art , Christmas lights and pictures with real rendiers . Horses being outside and waiting for some love from walking by people . For sure place to go !

Terrific set up. We went on a Friday morning and it was not too busy. Wonderful vendors with lots to pick from for goods and food items. Make sure to stop by to see the reindeer and the miniature horses and the outdoor fire pits are wonderful (if it is not too windy). Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as... More

What a wonderful setup to walk around and look at local artists and crafts. See reindeer or stop and warm up at an outdoor fire pit. Listen to Carollers or see Santa!

I went to the Christmas Market this past Friday. It was a great time to go. There were no crowds. Parking is free but there is a long walk to the gates. If you have an issue with walking, have someone drop you off at the gate. The cost of the show was a bit steep. $12.00 but there are... More

We attended the Christmas Market this year & it was a massive display of goods & goodies. It seems to get larger every year. In the main building it was so crowded that it was not possible get close to some vendors tables. The selection of goods was great, as was the entertainment. The only downfall was the food options,... More

The Christmas market is lovely. There are tons of local and distant vendors and the entrance price cannot be beat. Lot's of things for kids ,(games) and adults (spanish coffee) to keep yourself entertained. Go early, and leave early to avoid the crowd.
