We took our six year old granddaughter and she was mesmerized! She didn't want to leave. You can get very close to see the horses jump! Olympic athletes on beautiful horses. Fun activities for children such as dressing up in horse riding gear and getting photos taken, face painting and pony rides make this very family friendly. And even better... More

We recently attended the North American tournament at Spruce Meadows with our granddaughters. It was a wonderful experience from the pony rides to the parade of Nations and rhe actual horse jumping. All of the staff was so helpful and friendly. This was our second visit this year and both times we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. This venue is so well... More

This comes to the top of the list of things to see and visit when in Calgary. We are so fortunate to have this at our doorstep. Riders come from the world over , with their beautiful horses to compete for big dollars . If you are so fortunate to come when a competition is on , you will see... More

When people think about Calgary, invariably it brings images of the Calgary Stampede, or the Rocky Mountains. Show Jumping is not something most would think about in "Ranching Country", yet one of the finest facilities for show jumping in the WORLD sits on the southern edge of the city. Spruce Meadows is simply Magnificent! A sprawling facility, encompassing barns, multiple... More

Really truly a must to visit for all ages. Watching the show jumping in this world class facility will not only impress you but will educate you if you aren't already as to how facinating and truly difficult (although looks easy) this two team sport really is! Watching Olympians battle it out in the international ring or watching the junior/amateurs... More

From the National to the Masters, you won't be disappointed at the level of competition and the festive atmosphere of this world class facility. Be sure to take in the displays in the buildings as well as the jumping

See many family's in attendance. Inexpensive and top notch. Usually you can receive free access via Twitter or through one of sponsors, otherwise it's $5.00 for rush seating. Never had an issue with rush seating. You can bring food in. There are venders and restaurants too. Not the most comfortable seats, no backs or cushion. Often people bring blankets and... More

We had read about this place and were pleased to know that the Nationals were scheduled for the weekend we were visiting Calgary. We were thrilled that the weather turned out to be beautiful and we really enjoyed watching the horses and riders competing for places in the finals which took place on Sunday. Very clean, well staffed and enjoyable... More
