There are no outstanding, jaw-dropping attractions on the Fourth Street boutique district. It does start at 11th Ave, with Central Memorial Park, one of Calgary best pocket parks. There are a scattering of restaurants, shops and boutiques going south from there, and it ends at the Safeway on Elbow Drive. Nonetheless, there are many places that make excellent places to... It's interesting to walk along Fourth Street while checking out the various stores and restaurants. The street is a lot of fun during the Lilac Festival in the spring time, With bands playing, stalls set up with various arts and crafts and many options of street food.

Have always loved 4th Street. Feels like this connection between the suburbs and downtown. There are a decent amount of shops. To browse around. It would be nice if there were a few more shops in the area. Lilac Festival is the best day to go down. Only if you like giant throngs of people.

4th Street has quietly become a "go to" place just south of downtown Calgary. Lots of independent stores, restaurants, bars, pubs and delis/ groceries, It's place to go for a stroll or to go shopping. The downside is that it is also a (poor) commuter road to and from the downtown core - so it always has lots of traffic;... More

This area of town can be very confusing especially at night. It is a hazard to drive and now with bike lanes the traffic is horrid. Stay away from this street at any time of day.

lots of stores, good bars, good food to go eat. Check out 4th street if you are in calgary. I didn't see a review spot for 17th ave, so that is another place to check out if you are in town! a large variety of places to go!
