TommyKplay! Calgary's first class indoor playground and family entertainment centers are geared towards children aged 0 to 12 years. Started in 2010, TommyKplay has two facilities dedicated to providing "good clean fun" for children and the comfort and enjoyment of parents and guardians.

I took my two grandchildren 6 & 8 years of age. They played non stop for 2.5 hours. A number of things to do and they went back and forth and were never bored. The site was not full and lots of room to runs around. I noted 5 birthday party rooms which looked very good.
Rates are reasonable and there is an early bird discount for those arriving between 9:30 am and 10:15(?).

We've been coming to TommyKPlay since my son was in preschool. He's now in grade 3. He enjoys playing in the structure and it's a great option for rainy/cold day activities. It's reasonably priced, clean, and very large. We held a birthday party here one year and it was great. The party room was decorated nicely and all the kids had a fantastic time. It can get quite busy and loud during busy times, however that's to be expected! Parents can play with their kids or have a seat while the kids play! Would definitely recommend this place!

This is a fun place to take kids from babies to around 10 years old. Lots of places to sit and watch the kids. You can get food and drinks but it's expensive. My granddaughter is almost 4 and she loves this place. Don't forget to wear socks, that is required for everyone.

I took a family of 3 kids to Tommy K Play's this past weekend. The kids were aged 3 1/2, 7, and 9. Wow. ALL of the kids were super entertained. Large seating, comfortable lounge chair seating, laser tag, climbing wall, and multiple activities.
I contacted them before hand about a nut allergy and they informed me that everything is nut free.
It is a bit expensive but the amount of room is incredible. There are TV's and free internet for the adults (2 different networks). There is also TV broadcasts for the parents to watch what is happening inside the play equipment on the TV screens also!
Overall this is a great place compared to some of the other "play centres" that operate in Calgary.

We arrived from Edmonton and were tired and hungry and to be honest, weren't really expecting much as we'd never been to an indoor playground in Canada before but boy were we impressed!
The playground was enormous and our children were immediately filled with energy upon sight of the play area. As for the adults, there were plenty of comfy seats and some tasty treats (healthy options available might I add). To add to that, the play area could support the parents who wanted to join in the fun with their kids.
I'd definitely recommend Tommy K Play for birthday parties or even just a place to go if you need to let the kids run off some of that endless energy they seem to possess!

Highly recommend TommyKPlay to parents with younger children. Our boys are 3 and 5 - perfect age to run ... Run ... RUN! Without getting bored. Lots of seating to sit and watch, grab a coffee and refresh your zen. Clean. Great set up.

Had our sons 6th birthday here with 15 kids aged 3-9. The kids made the most out of the space to run and climb and were exhausted and sweaty after 2 hours. We did order a fruit platter and cheese platter- the cheese platter appealed more to the parents but the kids enjoyed the fruit. We brought our own cupcake cake so we didn’t have to worry about cutting a cake. Party room came in handy for water breaks and snacks. With a Winter birthday this was a great option for our son and his friends

Not allowed to bring coffee in . I asked the teenage staff at the front why and she told me because of cross contamination with nuts ? (Lol, that’s a first ) ...
Then it turns out they sell food and drink here and they want you to buy their food.
Teenage staff very unfriendly , play placed smelled like urine.
I won’t be returning again .

We do have to be extra cautious since there are so many different flavours and coffee mixes out there—caramel nut, pumpkin spice, Hawaiian macadamia nut—you name it! OK...so there are those out there that frown upon places like this. To each their own. I was in town for a visit and on a day when I had planned to be outside playing baseball and football it rained. And then rained some more.
Rather than go to a movie I took my young protege for some laser tag...and he spent his time split between the jumpy basketball station, the climbing wall and laser tag. Each time he wanted to play laser tag I was right there with him...sometimes the smaller kids enjoyed hiding behind me (and shooting me) and other times all of the kids enjoyed teaming up against the adult.
All of the kids that my little guy interacted with had a blast and the parents I spoke with seemed to be either having fun doing activities with their kids or relaxing (aka having adult time) while their kids burned off energy.
There were two staff that really made a difference in how they interacted with the kids--Frank and Noah. While some staff are content to 'cover a station' these two individuals actually interact with the kids and make the experience better for them. Thanks to you both.

We used to love coming to this place. But I don't think we will be back to the south location again. There wasn't enough for the kids to do as half of the things were out of order...should be discounted when the managers know this.
