Our tour guide Duncan who escorted the 4 of us for 4 days was exceptional. His wealth of knowledge, his receptivity to anything we needed, his willingness to adapt to changes, his overall companionship really made our travels in Lake Louise and Banff exceed all expectations. Thank-you.

Alberta Blue Sky for 3 consecutive days collected us our hotel in Banff.
Duncan Rodway on day one, in and around Banff including Gondola's up Sulpher Mountains and Day three various places of interest including Peyton Lake, where it snowed, heavily in fact you could not see the other side of the lake. And on day two Kaitlyn Cheeseman took us to Lake Louise, Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls to name a few.
Great Tours, well planned with great scenery and local information, both guides made all the difference helping us making this part of our three week train adventure from Vancouver to Halifax an experience of a life time. Thanks Conrad and Josy

To say we had a fantastic time would be an understatement! Our Rocky Mountaneer train ride was excellent and we all gained a little weight after just 2 days. The weather cooperated and the train attendants were so good, we knew we were in good hands. Although long days, we definitely relaxed and probably a title too much so on to Banff for some touring and walking! Our hotel was quaint and clean and since it was our Anniversary recently and this was part of our gift to ourselves, they left us a beautiful welcome and Champagne. The first day of touring started a little rough in that our tour bus never showed up. After discussion with Ivana at Canada Rail Vacations, the owner, Martin Flanagan dropped his personal plans to escort us on a “private tour”. My friends and I decided to go to church as we now had time and we do believe this aided us in making the day super fantastic. This was so special, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The morning weather that was cool misty became warmer and sunny, the gondola ride did not disappoint and our dinner was wonderful. The following day was just as good into Lake Louise and back. The views on the very comfortable bus were different from the train but very enjoyable. The day we were leaving, our friends took a different shuttle on Banff air porter and one of them left her purse on the shuttle. After a call to Canada Rail Vacations and ?Vicki or Nicki? Was able to reach the shuttle and within 10 minutes had her purse returned intact! If we could give 6 stars, we would have. Thank you!!

We took the YOHO tour that took us to the great spots between Lake Louise and Banff, as well as the Banff area tour that included the gondola and other sights. We were very impressed with local tour guides/drivers Duncan Rodway (Yoho) and Jake Pawis (Banff area). Besides providing safe travel to gorgeous areas, each provided personable and interesting commentary well beyond the normal tourist summaries most guides expound. We were also most fortunate in meeting two elk herds in the Banff area.

The tour started on time however because of construction traffic downtown we were late coming back both days. The guides were upbeat and informative. They shared personal anecdotes about the area and took us to some beautiful locations. They did stop on one tour at this small strip mall for a lunch break and there were slim pickings so I would skip that and include boxed lunches with the package.

We had four days with Duncan from Alberta Blue Sky Tours in a 12 seater sprinter exploring the Canadian Rockies.
What an amazing experience- Duncan’s knowledgeable and personable style ensured we had a fantastic unforgettable experience visiting all the best sites between Jasper and Banff. He helped us understand in some detail what we were experiencing. Excellent trip. This trip is very highly recommended. Duncan is an amazing tour host! Thanks Jeff and Pam

This was the best tour we have ever had. We had a full day and a half day. Both days were amazing. The van was nice and our driver Jake was exceptional. He was punctual, polite, thoughtful and very informative. He showed us all around Banff and filled us with info. We saw so many beautiful sites. This tour is well worth it.

We had Kat for the banff and lake louise small group tour, she was a spectacular guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining the entire tour. We learned a lot and the views were spectacular. This is a great trip for those who want to see the sights but sit back and relax. We saw a moose on one of the longer driving portions and Kat was quick to pull out a whole ecology lesson! I would recommend this tour with Kat, her sunshine-y and kind energy was so refreshing and a great way for my partner and I to end our stay here in banff. We will be back to tour more with her!

We had Duncan as our guide for three days. One day tour in Jasper and another day Jasper to Banff via what was probably the most beautiful mountain scenery we’ve ever seen! Then we had him again for the lakes and waterfalls tour. He was a FANTASTIC guide, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and clearly passionate. We could not have been more pleased!

We recently visited Canada via Canada Rail and had the most amazing vacation. While we were in Banff, Duncan Rodway. was our tour guide for 2 days. Duncan Rodway took us from Lake Louise to Banff. We saw beautiful lakes, mountains, trees and water falls. Duncan took us see freight trains going through the upper and lower Spiral Tunnels. Since we went through the tunnels on our Canada Rail Vacation it was fun to watch other trains go through it. We were glad Duncan took us to watch them. Thanks to Duncan's efforts, we saw elk, big horn sheep, mountain goats, birds, chipmunks and squirrels. The views of Banff are amazing. Duncan took us to ride the Banff Gondola on Sulphur Mountain. The views from there are breath taking. Everyone should visit this area and they should view it with Duncan Rodway. Thanks for a wonderful 2 days Duncan.

Hi There We are a group of two couples visiting Calagary for the Stampede in 2020. We are planning on having 3 days in Calagary and then would like to have a further 3 days travelling through the Banff area before getting the Rockie Mountaineer back to Vancouver. Is this is something you would be interested in doing. Thanks Julie

Hi:
My husband and I will be ending our trip to the Canadian Rockies on Aug. 20th. Our flight home doesn't leave Calgary until early that evening so we'd like to take in the sights since we'll have the entire day available to us. This is our first visit to Calgary and after reading all the glowing reviews by people who used your services, thought you could put something interesting together for us. We'll be staying at the Hilton Garden at the Airport and would need to be picked up and dropped off there.
Hoping you'll be able to accomodate us and looking forward to hearing from you, I remain,
Sincerely,
Johanna
