A great place for young and old alike to learn about the native species of fish in Alberta. They also hold "how to" programs for fishing and how to snowshoeing. Unfortunately, the fish hatchery will be closed for renovations until fall 2018.

Loved the hatchery tour and fish feeding. So neat to learn about the stocking programs. The aquarium and exhibits are very well made and interesting. Definitely a hidden gem.

Great place for toddlers. The museum upstairs is hands on and they had fun feeding the fish. Also nice to walk around the grounds, have a picnic lunch outside and watch the fishing.

Thanks for the review! Wonderful to hear that your toddlers enjoyed themselves while interacting with the hands-on exhibits inside our Discovery Centre. We are so lucky to have the Interpretive Wetlands as our backyard. They're especially beautiful with the changing fall colours. - Tamara
