The great expanses of grass are under snow for most of winter, but the trails are kept up nicely. When I was there, moms were taking their little ones for little walks. There are a few picnic tables about, so if the temperatures allowed, you could picnic too.

I grew up withing walking distance of the park in Capitol Hill when the golf course was just a gully. When I was in my teens we moved to Mount Pleasant right on the park, Loved the view every morning. Being on the park, I would ride my bike through the paths to University or just for a good ride.... Confederation Park is a wonderful spot to walk, run, bike or roller-blade. I love the colors and the crunch of the leaves in the fall. It is spacious enough you will feel like this is your own park to enjoy.

We typically go for a stroll whenever the weather cooperates, its not a eventful park with events or food trucks lined up. But one for relaxing, getting in that good jog, taking photos, or letting the kids run around. Unlike other parks there is a descent amount of trees, and a little bit of water to make you feel like... More

Taking an old rainwater swamp and turning it into an amazing park system was a great investment by the city. It is a lovely space to spend time, bring the dog, the kids or a picnic lunch or just stroll or ride or cross country ski!! All weather, all seasons, this is a special place.

This park is a gem in urban Calgary. It has a very well-maintained pathway year round for walkers, runners and, in winter, cross country skiers and kids with toboggans. You can stick with the paved paths, or wander next to the stream that runs from the golf course to the access across the street from the graveyard. There are baseball... More

Calgary has few notable public gardens. This on features fine gardens, which are free to the public and quite pretty. A peaceful place to stroll and enjoy a picnic
