A local's favorite, this is one of the most beautiful parks in the city. It is an easy walk around the park, and suitable for all ages. At Christmas the local IBEW work together in decorating the park which is beautiful to see.

It was just before Canada Day that I found myself in the NW, and decided to visit Confederation Park after a long absence. As an integral part of Calgary's pathway system, there are a lot of cyclists, joggers and walkers who use if for their fitness workouts. At 400 acres or 1.6 sq km, there's plenty of room for picnicking... More

Great place to hang out with the ducks, walk, bike ride, picnic, play baseball, visit the play ground, toboggan etc and there are washrooms as well so you can spend the whole day there!

My dog and I regularly jog through the park. We cut through the cemetery and into the main park area. The park is very large so it conveniently connects to a lot of neighbourhoods. It's a beautiful and peaceful area and on a nice day it's very lively but not over crowded. You can watch baseball games or go on... More

This is a great park for strolling, running, bike riding. It is quiet, with lots of trees and green spaces. There is a children's playground, a water pond with ducks. It is a very large park but a very pleasant walk. There were washrooms at the community centre by he playground. Definitely a must see if you go to Calgay.

This park is so great for running, walking, biking, long boarding, etc. Paths that go on for days and loads of beautiful green space to enjoy, as well as creeks with waterfalls! So peaceful and beautiful.

The last couple of times we were in Calgary, we walked from our hotel to this park and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. While we only visited for an hour or so, there is plenty of space for a longer walk, and the atmosphere cries out for a picnic. A true jewel.
