a great district with shopping and dining galore

One of my favorite districts, Kensington is home to great food, shopping, and nearby Peace Bridge. An easy stroll to the bridge and adjacent parks and walking/clycing trail.

Walked through this little town and stopped off for lunch. Great vibe and nice architecture. Little trinket shops are great to look at.

Kensington is a classic "walkabout" community. I used to live right of 10th Street and Kensginton Ave so I parked my car in my garage and walked everywhere. I no longer live there but frequent the place often for the same reasons I loved it when I lived there. It has a wide range of eating establishments that cover a... More

Kensington is a cute neighbourhood with a village stile and LOTS of cafes, restaurants and stores. It is nice to walk around and enter different places or sit in a cafe and enjoy the atmosphere. It is always busy but it doesn't feel crowded. Give some of the cafes, the wine market a try. The cheese market next to the... More

A must-see place for trendsetters. There's an amazing variety of niche shops for everything from lingerie to vinyl records. However, don't expect to find any parking here.

Great variety of stores to choose from. Don't drive down. Take the lrt. Can visit so much more without having to park. Nice blend of old and newer shops. Stop into Another Dimension Comic Book store. A classic! Get your picture taken with a life size model of the Hulk!

Great neighborhood with independent restaurants and shops. Good shopping in the daytime and cool bars and lounges in the evening. Highly recommended.
