This was an interesting museum which celebrated local heroes from different wars. the planes were mostly original although i think that the Sopwith camel was reconstructed. obviously a lot of care has been taken to either replicate, restore and preserve the planes.

Loads of history, while the museum is fairly small, it offers a lot of small details. certainly plan for atleast 3 hours. Great for kids interested in aviation.

We had a very interesting talk with one of the guides there and learned a lot about immigration in Canada. The have lots of airplanes of display many rebuild and put on display. Many long hours have been put in by all of the dedicated volunteers to create this museum. They have summer camp programs for kids too.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for your kind words about our Museum. We are certainly grateful for our volunteers, and the Museum wouldn't be the same without their dedication. More

Not a huge museum for we aerophiles, but it has many high notes. Lankaster, Vampire. Many local ground and air breaking aircraft. Nice tributes to veteran air warriors and pioneers. Check out the lounge in the women's washroom. Well worth the $10.

On the plus side, the interior of this volunteer driven facility is awesome considering. A Lancaster was removed from a pedestal and wheeled to the Museum, where it has now received a new coat of paint and looks splendid. The esoteric mix of military and non military craft is exactly what you would expect and their shop is compact and... More

Took visitors with kids there for the first time the kids loved the experience everything to them was "It's big" standing and looking up at the planes and helicopters. When we left their response was "when can we come back"

Lovely museum to wander around with the family for reasonable entry costs. Plenty of room to look at the exhibits in the first building and lots of airline seats to try and it was interesting to note that some had ashtrays in the arms. The main reason for our visit was to look at the Lancaster Bomber and we were... More

I have booked my daughter's bday here. The day itself was marvelous but the preparations were not that good because there were so much donts from the event head. It is a good thing that my friends helped me do the preps and decoration. I would suggest that if you will your event in here, you are fine with 2... More

One of the first places I went when I moved to Calgary. Went there with 3 other adults. The exhibits were neat and there is lots to see. I think most people would enjoy it regardless as to whether you are interested in aeroplanes or not.
