    I liked it
You get a good panoramic view of Calgary from its tower. I liked the glass platform, although it was somewhat small. Compared to other city towers, I find this one to be a bit less thrilling, and I feel like other attractions can be incorporated within the tower itself. I was in and out in less than 10 mins.

    Good view
We went there at 10:30 am and it was not overcrowed. The price is correct (21$ for 1 adult). When you are in the observatory point, you have a lot of informations about the city and the landscape in front of you which is very interesting ! The shop downstairs is very expensive (6-8$ for a magnet). Otherwise, everything was good !

    Average tower
The Calgary Tower can be seen easily as a distinctive part of the city skyline in Calgary. We ventured downtown to go have a look, parking was a pain, signage to indicate the entrance to the tower was non-existent. It cost about $20/person to take the elevator up. It’s not particularity tall so you’re mostly looking at adjacent buildings. There’s not much to take pictures of, even from the top. Unless you really have an affinity for towers, you can skip this one.

    Part of the downtown experience.
Visiting the Calgary tower is part of the downtown experience. I would recommend going up to the restaurant instead of just going to the observation deck on its own. The observation deck offers great views of the city and has some plexus glass to stand on and look down (if you can stomach it) There’s a short video and display on the history of the tower, as well as markers of the downtown landmarks. Downside If you’ve been to the CN tower before, expect less Not being the tallest tower in Calgary lessens the experience

    Nice day visit
Great views of the city and beyond. On entering the viewing deck, there's a glass section with a glass floor. Made my knees shake walking across it. Quite when we visited so we could take our time walking round to see all of the city. On one side, some of the skyscrapers have outgrown the tower, so not much to see besides offices.

I highly recommend the Calgary Tower revolving restaurant
The slowly revolving restaurant at the top of Calgary Tower was a superb place to dine and meet. The food was great, especially the English Trifle made with rhubarb! The service was excellent and the waiter very knowledgeable about wine. A perfect evening out with a wonderful view.

    Great views of the city
I try to visit towers in every new city I go to. In addition to the views from the tower itself, there is also a short film showing all the beautiful landscapes of Canada and information about the tower and surrounding buildings downtown. At night, the Tower lights up. As with most things, its not as enjoyable when its crowded but what can you do.

The 360° restaurant at Calgary Tower is an excellent restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant because the customer service is second to none. The food quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. On the service I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable….the 360° rotating with the spectacular view of city at night, is just great.

    Calgary Tower
As we only had a short time in Calgary this was one of the places we wanted to go to. The views from the top were amazing- 360 degrees- and there were helpful information boards indicating the landmarks. Standing on the glass platform for a photo was one of the bravest things I’ve done! As we were staying nearby we returned later to see the tower illuminated- lovely!

    Best View of Calgary.
Calgary Tower. Great landmark and definitely worth the $20 entry. Wasn’t all that busy and great way to see all of Calgary and the mountain line off in the distance. Be mindful if your afraid of of heights or struggle being at heights the tower does lightly sway when it’s windy like today.

Calgary Tower was once a landmark and one of the tallest structures in the City of Calgary. Currently, it seems to be safely stowed between now much larger buildings and is almost becoming a bit of a historical artifact. The visit to the tower is great, the view is quite spectacular (still), and if it doesn't give you the chills you can try standing (or dare you to lay face down) on the glass floor section.
The rotating restaurant (360) is really cool, as it revolves once per hour providing a full view of the city from the CT perspective while dining.
I must admit the only reasons why I didn't give this full 5 stars is:
1. Restaurant is too pricey for the food quality you will get (really guys, Earls and Moxies are doing better), and
2. The tour of the tower itself should provide a bit more information and pictures about the building construction. There is some info in the elevator, and some in other parts, but it is scarce and disconnected. Seattle Space Needle did a better job on this one (hint-hint).

We visited Calgary Tower prior to our dinner reservation for the Sky 360 rotating restaurant. From previous reviews I had understood your dinner reservation included access to the tower’s observation deck, but when we arrived we discovered the offer has changed to a “discounted fee” with tickets available fro the gift shop.

The gift shop attendant was very helpful and friendly, offering us helpful advice about our visit, and recommended we not pay the extra fee for access to the observation deck as the views are better from the restaurant level which we would be visiting anyway. I did purchase a lovely t-shirt in the gift shop, but when we asked about an item we had seen displayed in the window, it was unavailable. Apparently, the stock in the gift shop was low as we were visiting outside of peak tourist season, which was a bit disappointing.

We very much enjoyed our experience at the restaurant, and the views are incredible. See my separate review of Sky 360 for further details.

Probably the best known landmark in Calgary, the Calgary tower is an iconic structure that draws many visitors. Even though it is not as tall as other towers around the world, it is still a member of the World Federation of Great Towers which puts it in a status on par with other taller and more modern towers in the world (e.g. Toronto's CN Tower, Shanghai's Pearl Oriental tower, or Seattle's Space Needle, among others).

The entry fee is somewhat pricey, however taking the elevator up to the observation deck is a fun experience thanks to the screens showing an animation of the ascend. Once upstairs, the views on a clear day can be impressive, though the side that faces the central business district offers mostly views of the downtown office towers. But on the other sides of the tower, you can see the Rocky mountains, the airport, prairies, and other landmarks in the city.

The glass floor is a fun feature, in line with what you normally see in other tall towers around the world. It is a very popular spot for pictures.

There is a video showing some information about the tower, but that's the extent of the "interactive" side of the tower. I really wish that more interactive and audiovisual displays were made available on the observation deck which would make a visit to the tower memorable, hence my 4 star review instead of 5. I really hope that the management takes note of this and exploits the tower's potential by bringing its displays to the 21st century!

Downstairs there is a small souvenir shop.

I haven't been at the rotating restaurant in the tower in several years, I look forward to trying it again. A few years ago it was one of the best romantic spots in the city to go for dinner, so I hope that hasn't changed too much!

Arrived in Calgary late afternoon from Banff and had to go have a look at the Calgary Tower. Such a delight to see the views at night looking out over the CBD which then aloud me to search the CBD from the ground the following day. note to self and others if you want to eat at the restaurant book ahead early for a meal with a view :)

Location: In the heart of Downtown Calgary.

Parking: I didn’t see any affiliated with this site. But I was able to find a street parking located on the street on the other side of this side on the east side. I paid using my parking app, which wasn’t expensive at all & a 10 min walk.

Admission: I did online, I believe there’s an option to do it in person. It’s about $30+ bucks.

Activities: The lineup is about a 20min wait, to accommodate Covid requirements. You go up in the elevator, which doesn’t have glass windows. There is only indoor viewing sections & a glass floor (that I learned from a friendly security officer, was tested by a horse being put on it) & different historic spots. There’s also a small gift shop on your way out, which I made no purchases.
Nothing much to do, other than watching the beautiful view from high up!
Future Visits: Not for myself, only family or friends who haven’t visited.

The Calgary tower offers 360º views of the city of Calgary. The views of the city are amazing and complete with guides to educate you on what you're looking at and how to find iconic landmarks across Calgary such as Olympic Park and the Saddledome. If you're feeling brave you can take a step onto the glass floor and take a look down at the ground over 600ft below! We visited the Tower at sunset which gave us absolutely spectacular views with gorgeous colours as the sun set over the city skyline.

Whenever we have guests in town, we take them up the Tower. It has a lovely 360 degree view of the city and landscape. My only complaint is that you have to pay to ride the elevator up, even if you are eating there. I think if you're buying a pricey meal, they should comp the trip up, since you have no choice of how to get to the top.

Really enjoyed my visit to the tower. It gave you a great 360 degree view of the surrounding areas. Be sure to bring earbuds and log onto their WiFi so you can easily get their audio guide through your phone (free!). It is free if you eat at the restaurant (Sky360) and separate check-in line. If you pay for the access, it was $22 Canadian (I believe)/~$17 American when I went with the conversion. Appears to be cheaper if you purchase them online, $19. The prices were higher than I saw I the website. Don't be scared and take that great picture over the window balcony (my photo below). Only 4 people at a time at each station (photo below) at the window balcony. Make sure you go on a clear day.

Great food and a professional atmosphere. Service staff were on queue and the food was delicious. I had the 12oz striploin and it was grilled to perfection. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a romantic dinner, professional event or the celebration of something important!

As we were staying at the Marriott hotel a stones throw from the tower we decided why not have a visit and combine it with a meal as well. You can’t book the restaurant in the tower you have to go on line so we booked a meal for us both in the revolving restaurant,a tip here is if you are wanting a meal and you want to see the views as well combine them both and you don’t have to pay for the tower visit just the meal in the restaurant.Your stay is for two hours which is twice around the city and the views are quite spectacular.
The prices are reasonable for up there but if you haven’t got a head for heights this is not for you
