Amazing views as you climb up to the tea house. Found it quite tough going but we stopped a few times to rest. You can see the glaciers around you and surrounding mountains. So beautiful. The tea house has refreshments and toilets plus lovely views....More

We arrived at Lake Louise (early at 7am!) to find we weren't alone, but it didn't matter. The Lake IS everything I wanted it to be. Crystal blue/turquoise surrounded by giant mountains. We decided to go the Plain of Six Glaciers. We purchased the Lonley...More

Worth the walk, most people didn't do this when we were there so it was almost deserted. Signage a bit limited in place but really worth the walk and not too difficult. If travelling in Oct or after you will need cleats

A pretty easy albeit a fair walk- stunning views, cool wildlife and lots and lots of photo ops. We did it in the snow without 'yak tracks' but next time would rent some- several times were pretty slippery.

Loved the hike and the scenery. Steadily uphill on the way there, and as a result, all downhill on the way back. Gorgeous views of Lake Louise and surrounding glaciers. Quite crowded and well traveled trail.

We did not expect to see so many glaciers and were amazed at the views. It is sad to see how much they have receded.

This could be one of the day best hikes in the world... however, it isn't because for the majority of this extremely busy hike, you are hiking in piles upon piles of horse manure. The hike starts at the insanely busy Lake Louise lakeshore filled...More

We visited in the Summer and it snowed lightly. Unless extremely prepared and experienced, I would not recommend in December.
