a great short hike along a spectacular run of low but aggressive falls, worth the walk, and feel the temperature change as you get nearer the water with all that ice run off.

We did this walk on one of our last days in the Rockies. We didn't have the time to drive the entire Icefields parkway, so we decided that we stop here and save the rest for another trip. Totally amazed because this was a stunning...More

This is an easy hike around one of the most beautiful lakes / locations in the Canadian Rockies. Everybody stops at the Bow lake lookout but this trail gives you mor time to enjoy the spot. Well worth the effort.

Nice easy hike around the lake and up the stream, not too challenging. Gives great views of the glacier falls.

This is an easy hike that has a little bit of everything: a beautiful lake, expansive river bed and waterfalls. We arrived at 8:00am and had the trail to ourselves until the return trip about 1.5 hours later. It was perfect for our last day...More

My wife and I visited this absolutely beautiful lake, and really enjoyed the walking trails that give you different photo opportunities. The reflections in the morning made for excellent pictures. We would come back again to enjoy this beautiful lake.

What a beautiful hike. Unfortunately for me the trail was washed out just past the mouth of the river. There's limited parking at the trail parking so prepare for that. The views were spectacular despite the rain, clouds and smoke.

During a recent vacation in the Canadian Rockies, my wife and I had intended to do one of the "teahouse hikes" at Lake Louise. But, because smoky conditions severely reduced mountain scenery visibility, we decided to do this hike instead. It turned out to be...More

The trail is very easy most of the way. It begins at the end of a gravel parking lot and winds along the shore of Bow Lake. The day we were there the wind was stiff coming off the lake and it was very smoky...More
