We used the shuttle bus from Chateau Fairmont for this visit. There were no queues and we had the choice of an open or closed gondola. We chose the open one and enjoyed the rides up and down. At the top there was still a...More

Came across this by accident as we had tried to get down to Lake Louise and Lake Moraine but it was completely full. Best mistake I had made. The chairlift was great fun and we caught a glimpse of a grizzly bear!! Booked a package...More

Went to the gondola this morning and ate breakfast (and for $4 more than a regular ticket) it was delicious! It was an awesome experience for the price and we got to see a family of bears (mom and two cubs) right below us on...More

Very happy with our experience here. It was not crowded at all, and the view at the top is amazing. We did not see any bears, but we did not need to. The lift stalled a couple of times, which was annoying, but other than...More

We would recommend this Gondola than the one in Banff. Although we did not see any grizzlies on our way up, the sceneries and the view of Lake Louise on top was amazing. The wildlife exhibition was interesting and there were very few people up...More

This is a ski lift in the summertime. I was not impressed and would recommend the Banff Gondola as an alternative any day.

Can ride up and down in either an open lift chair or enclosed gondola. Great views of the surrounding area and a short walk to a wonderful interpretive centre or a shuttle you can take there if necessary.

The open chairlift was a great change but you can take a gondola if you prefer. A beautiful long ride amongst the trees. We saw a grizzly mum with her 2 cubs making her way down the hill. At the top is a resteraunt and...More

First off they don't tell you that the lift does go to the top of the peak, just mid peak. Views were ok , because of smoke from BC fires drifting in. Didn't see any bears along the ride up and down.

Hi, To the best of my knowledge, I don't recall getting priority in line. There was one line that forms. The advantage is that you don't have to stand in the ticket line on site. :)
