We found the conditions pretty good for May. The slopes are probably a bit more challenging than other ski resorts, but overall, we found the conditions to be excellent.

I would highly recommend the ride up the tram-the views are amazing especially looking across the valley back at Lake Louis.

We originally went to Lake Louise Ski Resort just for the gondola ride and a look around but decided to do a snowshoe tour and we were so pleased we did. It seemed a waste just to pay for the gondola and not to do...More

Park it --- Arrive early to score the best parking or pay for the reserved section infront of the lodge. The latter you arrive the further you walk to the lifts. Pay attention to the directions of the parking lot dudes, they will show where...More

Should be good, we are planning another trip for Easter as long as snow is still holding up!
Hi, I'm planning my first ski trip to Lake Louise/Banff the first week of December. Any idea what the ski hill conditions would be like? Will there be snow? Does Lake Louise Ski resort make snow if there is no precipitation? Thanks in advance.

I cannot answer these questions- Try their website or even the concierge at chateau lake Louise .
Planning a family ski trip to Banff. Would like to ski a day or two at Lake Louise and couple of days at Sunshine Village. Would like recommendations for hotels and shuttles. Thinking maybe of using brewster bus to get up to Banff and then just using the local buses. Suggestions?
