Amazing views! We got the breakfast bar for $4 more than the lift price and we enjoyed it before we took the ride up. The kids enjoyed watching the ground squirrels running into their holes. We did not see any bears or other wildlife.

Went there during a holiday in banff in February and the Snowboarding was amazing!!! Between sunshine village and lake louise, the length of the slopes were longer in lake louise and this meant spending less time on the ski lifts and more time snowboarding.

We had a great time at Lake Louise downhill skiing. The slopes were in good condition and the staff were friendly. I thought that some of their green runs could have been rated blue though. The washrooms were clean as well.

Had a fantastic time here. So many runs to choose from. A definite must go if you enjoy skiing. Prices were more than I expected and there were no deals, especially for it being so late in the season. Not far from Banff so a...More

The Lake Louise ski area is varied and challenging with a great range of groomed and un-groomed runs. The facilities on the mountain are a little limited compared to Europe's plentiful restaurants, but more than adequate. The food served in the pub in the lodge...More

I agree with everyone else. It's an easy drive, pretty close off the highway. The gondola is pretty mellow.

Hi, You can drive right up to the ski base area, but if you want views you will need to take the chair lift up. As I remember it, the chair lift is the only one that runs in the summer as the upper mountain is closed to... More

The resort can offer this service through our Snow School. Essentially, you can book an instructor/guide and they'll show you the ropes!
