Hi KatieH434, Thank you so much for your detailed review! We are happy to hear that you and your group were able to celebrate on the river with us. We have spent considerable time fine-tuning our trip logistics to maximize fun, and are glad to know that you found us to be efficient! You are definitely correct, getting out of the rafts to scout Portage & Shotgun adds to the excitement of this section of the river. Rafters in the back of the raft do tend to experience a little drier, but more bumpy ride than the front, but not always! The guides do like to ensure that those in the back of the raft get splashed with rapids too. We will certainly let Andrew know of your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you again next year! -Diana & the Wild Water Crew
