The only thing bad I can say about our 6 day - 5 night backcountry lodge trip is that it has been very depressing to return home. From the minute we met our guide / trail-side cook / stand up comedian Mark, we knew it would be a great trip. When we first arrived, we met our six companions (who... More

We rode the shortest, cheapest route and it was fab - a one hour ride along the river and it was a beautiful route. I have never been horse riding before and was admittedly a little nervous however there was no need to be. Apart from the member of staff in the 'shed' where you fill out your disclaimer form... This ride is suitable for people with no experience, or those with lots. The ride does have some technically difficult parts, but the company does a very good job of matching the horse to the rider's abilities. If you sign up, you will get a list from the company with what to bring. It includes basic items such as a... More

This is our third horse ride with this company. So this time we decided on the 3hr sulphur mountain ride "big mistake" it was not a ride for beginners it was treacherous and in places quite dangerous. There is no offer of helmets with this company. Also they take a photograph of each rider as we left ( my parents... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry the photographer did not offer you the photos. With regards to helmets, we have helmets available for no charge on all our trips. I will ensure to remind the guides to offer them out to guests. More

I was in a large group on the BBQ dinner ride. They seem to be well organised matching horse to rider, and giving basic instructions. It is a very slow walk one horse behind the other, but very enjoyable. Some of the group took the wagon ride to Dinner. The BBQ dinner was ok with rope and horseshoe throwing activities.... More

My boyfriend and I went to this establishment for a 2 hour trail ride. If it weren't for the scenic views and the mostly good-tempered horses, we would be more upset. The horses are tacked up and left in a pen untied, and recycled from ride to ride. We then mounted, and we're given a quick schpiel on how to... More

I booked the 1hr Spray River ride and had a great time! As I was the only one for that specific ride, I got to chat with my guide (I forget her name unfortunately but she was Swedish and very kind!). My horse Spencer was very well behaved and the highlight was definitely crossing the river! I got to see... More

Me and my girlfriends stumbled upon your store in banff and were right away greeted by a very friendly young fella as soon as we walked in. We didn't catch his name but he was very knowledgeable about the product and he helped both my friends pick exactly what they were looking for. We will be passing along the word... More

We did the Sulpher mountain 3 hour ride with Mia as our guide and it was awesome! I am experienced with horses and I really enjoyed myself. The views were great and we all stayed in a file line but because we had drop off on the one side most of the time and small trails but horses all knew... More
