I had no idea the fairmont had a bowling alley until we were told to check it out by one of our servers in the hotel. We had such a warm welcome from Reid right when we walked in. He was so energetic and friendly and gave my family and I a great explanation on Canadian 5 pin bowling and the other amenities the bowling centre had to offer. He brought our drinks over to us and we had pizza which was also delicious. Out of all the amazing staff we have encountered, the genuine customer service Reid provided to us has stuck out the most. Fantastic job Reid, you made our trip! I will definitely be recommending the bowling alley to our friends and family, it is a great spot for a day trip with the kids!

Lucked out finding parking behind the Banff Springs. Enjoyed a photo op at the Van Horne statue at turnabout, then arrived a bit earlier than scheduled as their first early afternoon guests. It was a refreshingly cool oasis and the shoes were even comfortable with my bad bunion. It was an outing with 6 and 8 yr old grandchildren, one of whom had never bowled. Erin got us all set up and made us feel extremely comfortable. I like when the machines do all the scoring. We had just eaten a big breakfast so food/drink was not on our agenda. It was a humbling experience, since gutter balls occurred all too frequently for each one of us. Erin was a superb hostess and an asset to this fun place, where it is fun to try something different. I was unable to figure out the pricing. If it was on their website, I did not see it before our arrival.

My young family visited the bowling alley and Matt and Andre took really good care of us like we are part of the family. The customer service was AMAZING and the next time we are in Banff we will come back. I am very picky when it comes to customer service and Matt and Andre went above and beyond their job.

Decided on a weekend getaway. The staff here goes over and above with their service. Had an issue with room service breakfast. The next day breakfast was complimentary with calls from the manager apologizing for the issue. Absolutely awesome service.

We made a reservation for our group.
We needed two lanes....turns out they only have two lanes! We were the only ones in there.
It was intimate and fun.
There are nice leather couches for the older crowd to relax on. The younger kids in the group loved the arcade.

It is a small 4 lane bowling alley, which is what we expected. But playing 5-pin bowling was a new experience for us. The kids had a blast with the small balls and three tries per frame. We made reservations for an hour and that was enough time for 4 people to play 2 games. This would be a good rainy day activity. They have glow bowling some nights, but we missed that night. Food and drinks are extrmely expensive, but that was no surprise given the location.

The boys loved this type of bowling. They use different pins and ball then America bowling. Service is fantastic! Make a reservation before you go though.

Late checking in with happy face staff--nice smile. Adam from valet station notice I am tired with my luggage, give me a lots of help. The hotel is having some renovation for exterior, our room has some trouble with shower drain. However, cannot wait for the shower to be fixed, make me really sleepy, I recalled my wife get the shower next room. I woke up earlier and had shower with swim. Nice pool and clean facility. Great hotel to spend time with family here.

Had lots of fun bowling with the family. You can order food and drinks, but we bowled as an after dinner activity. Simple, 4 pin alley.

This place is part of a bigger hotel, but it's the only 5 pin bowling in the area. There are only 4 lanes, so I suggest making a reservation. It's a cozy place to hang out. They also have a pool table and some other types of games. The guy at the counter was really nice and accommodating. We ordered cream sodas and played for an hour or so; there 4 of us and we got two games in. It was the perfect thing to do at 730 on a Tuesday when it's raining out. Good experience. I definitely recommend, especially if you've never played 5 pin bowling before.
