Beautiful gardens and grounds
Sep 2019
We happened upon the gardens and took a break from the rushing around of touring and enjoyed the grounds with all the flowers, ponds, and beautiful landscaping. These gardens are very tranquil and well planned. We were amazed at the beautiful variety of flowers and that they were mostly all in bloom given that we were there in September which seems late in the flowering season for us from the Eastern part of the US. If horticulture is in your interest, this is a must see.

We walked here in the evening and the actual building was closed. However, the gardens are exquisite and each one is more beautiful than the last one. We took awesome photos of the gardens. There was some other construction of various gazebos going on, but I would expect that construction to be completed by late September 2019.

Such Beautiful grounds
Sep 2019
This building sits at the head of town, nestled below Sulphur Mountain. The grounds are the setting for Cascade Gardens, a walk though which you will enjoy for the beauty and serenity

An ongoing project
Jul 2019
The gardens at the Parks Administration Building are under ongoing construction. The different levels and flower beds are wonderful. Small ponds and waterfalls make this a place to visit.

Nice Walk
Jul 2019 • Couples
Stopped here on our Brewster City Tour and the gardens are worth a 20 min. stroll. In full bloom, and well designed with unusual burl wood gazebos around. Glad we stopped, and Mark and Simon had a refreshment waiting for us as we got back on the coach - much appreciated!

Almost like being in Scotland
Sep 2018 • Couples
Visited the PAB in Autumn and there was snow on the ground. However, we spent an hour strolling around the gardens and building enjoying the sights and soaking-up the atmosphere. Great vista from the lawn into Banff. Surreal photographs too! A visit in Spring is a MUST! Recommended.

A classic Banff icon
Sep 2018 • Couples
When you arrive in Banff and drive up Banff Avenue, at the end of the road is this stately edifice. It is very impressive, and it set the tone as to who was in charge of the park when it was built. It's not that ancient, built in 1935/36, but for this area, still quite old. It anchors the beautiful Cascade of Time Gardens, and there's a new feature there that we just discovered on our last visit. We noticed a big plaque with "Commonwealth Walkway" on it. We looked it up, and for the Queen's 90th birthday, Banff Town developed a number of special walks in and around the town, marked by plaques like this one.
