I've been here twice, the first time to attend a conference and the second for a retreat. The conference facilities are ok, although there was a fitness conference going on next door, and they were loud, with the sound transferring through the walls. The food...More

Located just up the mountain from the center of Banff lies the Banff Centre. Artists from all over the world come here to study and perform. A lovely facility with a great theatre, good food, spacious accommodation, and a view of the Bow Valley.

There is a fitness centre and swimming pool at The Banff Centre. It is a very pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk into downtown.

If you are passing through the park you do not need a Park Pass. If you are passing through the park you may stop for gas etc. I have never seen a Park Pass Check within the town of Banff.
