Be warned while amazing, the pics here of the glacier are photo shopped, it has some brown and gray soot in it from pollution, still great to see. The skywalk on the other hand is a complete waste, views are not of a glacier but a canyon and river, pretty but can be seen from the road for free.

Although much hyped the trip to the glacier from the Discovery Centre aboard the specially signed busses and the opportunity to walk on the glacier is still stunning. The Skywalk is now bundled with the glacier so you can't do the glacier on its own which is a little disappointing but as an attraction the Skywalk is also informative and... More

I was so excited to take my husband and youngest son here after having done it with our older children 12 yrs ago, but was hugely disappointed! First off I had called ahead and was told they run the ice machines every 15-20 min, however when we got there we were told it was an 1.5 HR wait!!!! We had... More

Although it is quite expansive for a family (4 adults) this was on the "must do" list for this trip. It was also to crowded with people and we hand to wait 2 hrs (but we could have lunch meanwhile). Our guide on the snowco bus was very humorous. In total this aktiviteter tok us about 5-6 hrs and only... More

What a trip .. after driving 3 hours up the highway, it was amazing to go and visit an actual Glacier. Ness was our driver and she was so funny and informative as we drove up to the Glacier. If youre a bit unsteady on your feet, be careful when getting up onto the ice (think about what shoes you... More

The icefield is awesome. The trip up is spectacular and you can even walk on the glacier. Bring a water bottle to fill straight from the top of the glacier. The best water ever and stays cold for hours.

Every part of the way was beautiful we got to see Bears on the side of the road with their cubs several turquoise color Lakes very steep Mountains full of snow. finally we arrived at the Colombia Icefield. Beautiful... More

My boyfriend and I had drove out for the day and bought tickets for the combined glacier tour and skywalk. Firstly we did the glacier walk and our driver/ tour guide Dakota was brilliant, she answered all our questions and made the trip extra fun - being on the glacier itself was an amazing experience! We then went to do... More

Taking the Ice Explorer out onto the glacier is quite an experience. You get to take this massive machine out onto the glacier and then walk around for 15 minutes or so (in a contained area) to check out the glacier and enjoy some glacial water. The hill that you go down to get out there is incredible, but the... More

Driving the Icefield Highway was a magnificent tour of glacier activity. The scenery was stunning. The highway was in good shape. The traffic once past Lake Louise in Banff was fairly light. Obey the speed limit and enjoy the sights. Gas stations are few so don't pass on an opportunity to fill-up. We took tons of pictures and are happy... More
