We waited an our for our time slot and then additional 20 mins in line to the Gondola. The site is amazing and definitely worth visiting. They were in the middle of construction and should complete the building on top in August.

The view from the top was spectacular, especially if you walk to the end of the boardwalks. It's not a strenuous walk but take your time as the air is thinner up here. We went at 9am before the crowds got there and the car park was empty. Unfortunately the new 2 story building at the summit wasn't finished, but... More

We loved the Gondola ride even though it was a cloudy, cold, rainy day. We made the best of it. Food available downstairs and at the top, gift shop both places, and the interpretive walk on the deck to the historic weather station was easy and wonderful.

It's a place that attracts many tourists so go early in the AM ( or[possibly later in the afternoon.) With construction going on, the parking is quite limited. Once you... More

Absolutely beautiful view of Banff from the gondola and the top of the mountain. Excellent docents at the top answered questions and pointed out points of interest.

It is a bit pricey. The view is lovely but if you have been to Whistler, you can skip it. There is a nice long walk at the top to get a different perspective.

What an amazing experience!!! We want first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds! It was wonderful to climb to the weather station, then back down. A great time!
