We started out with our tour guide Alex for some of the safety rules on the bus. These are important things that they go over and he made the bus ride from the facility to the river very informative and super funny. I laughed the entire time. When we arrived to the river, the raft safety was with Marshall. Also... More

This was a first on the excitement scale for this 65 year old grandmother. I had the time of my life. Your program takes away all the safety fear and leaves only the fun and excitement. Your guides instilled confidence but made the whole trip a real laugh. Thank you very much. Can't wait to go on another white water... More

Was lucky enough to get on the river with Chinook Rafting on their last run of the season. It was a great experience from start to finish. I was worried at first about the level of skill or strength to do the trip. I worried for nothing. As soon as we got there, we were warmly welcomed. We were given... More

We had been rafting a few times previously in Costa Rica and Colorado as a family, but this one blew the others away!!! The rapids were a blast and the tour guides were funny and very nice, as well as informative. Our guide Duncan was amazing!!! We weren't expecting too much as the only available tours were for 2-3 rapids... More

Top notch experience, we went as a team of colleagues in August 2016. Despite picking what we thought would be the warmest weekend of the summer, we ended up with a forecast of a high of +8 degrees C, grey cloud and light rain. Knowing we would get wet anyways, not too concerned with rain as wetness was gonna occur... More

My boyfriend and I rafted Horseshoe Canyon on a very cold day in September and had a blast! All of the guys working there were hilarious, and our guide Vince was awesome. The cliff jump is intimidating but so much fun. Hope we can make it earlier in the season next time! Gorgeous views.

This was the first time my husband and I have ever been rafting. He was really nervous, he was so scared when he was the first wave breaker on our raft. However Alex was amazing and my husband soon was a raftaholic. Next time we are in Banff we will be booking with Chinook Rafting again!

I came rafting with a group of girls and we had an amazing time, we learned so many things we didn't know about the bow valley, we learned about movies, mountains, and what bird represents true love. We started the day off with really bad weather and the second we got onto the river blue sky appeared. An amazing trip... More

I have never white water rafter before so I was a bit nervous before hand. Clearly safety is this companies absolute priority and you are clearly instructed on what to do if you fall in. Well I did fall in, but followed what I was told and I was back in the boat in no time, and thoroughly enjoyed the... More

Had an amazing time rafting Horseshoe Canyon. It was a pretty cold day, but Chinook provided wet-suits, fleeces, windbreakers, booties, helmets, etc. to make sure everyone was comfortable. Our guide was Vince, and he was fantastic. Explained so much about the river, the rapids, the area, the rocks, specific places on the river where movies had been shot (The Revenant... More
