Beautiful lake - worth a pic if passing by
We were on a tour bus and it pulled over to a pullout on the side of the road for us to get off the bus and take some pictures. It was a beautiful lake with beautiful scenery, however, if you are short on time, of all the stunning lakes we saw, this one, as beautiful as it was, could be skipped. (Of course, Lake Louise and Lake Moraine were more spectacular.)

    A Beautiful Spot
I have camped many times many years ago at Two Jack Lake Campsite, but have never actually been to the lake. Because we had some friends visiting from the UK, we took some time to stop here and take a close look at what the lake had to offer. There are picnic tables and a nice beach for the kids to enjoy a swim in the shallow water. And of course the colour is a beautiful green

    BeautifuL!
We stopped here on a tour and it was breathtaking! We were lucky enough to visit on a day that was still so our photos were a total reflection because of the stillness of the water. Im enlarging the photo I took and adding it to my treasured wall of gorgeous locations!

I always like to take friends on the Lake Minnewanks Loop Road. Very scenic, saw a herd of wild big horn sheep this last time. Boat ride on Minnewanka is fun to do and it is such a beautiful place to visit. Two Jack Lake is smaller but an important part of the Loop. Saw more individuals swimming and canoeing than I remember seeing the last time I was there a few years ago. I suspect many were locals as there are less tourists here.

OK. IT is on your way back from Lake Minnewanka and you have to stop there to swim. It is probably the warmest (or less cold) water you can get there during the summer. If you have done all your adventures already save an early morning to go there and rest, do barbecue, picnic or just relax enjoying the warm water and the amazing view among nature and the mountains.

Very pretty lake. The color of the lake changed from blue to green to turquoise. We hiked the trail - not a loop but in and out. It was not very populated, but it did run through the campgrounds. We chose to hike this lake because Lake Louise is way too crowded. This was peaceful.

We came here to take some photos for sunset but ended up staying a little later to stargaze. It was super dark at the lake, but there was a lot of light coming from the nearby campground and from the town in Banff so it isn’t as perfect for stargazing, but it was still nice. I loved that the lake is right next to the parking lot so we didn’t even have to go far from the car. We even had a little red fox running around the parking lot for most of the evening. There was hardly anyone there which was nice.

Lovely little lake and so quiet compared to the melee of lake Louise. All the little lakes in this area have the same combination of emerald gree water and nouveau a with reflections. So much better to see in isolation than with loads of others

Two Jack Lake was nice and relaxing, and it seems like this is where the locals come and hang out to avoid the tourist crowd. It's not as great as the more popular lakes, but it was still nice and peaceful. There was ample parking and the lake was right next to the parking lot, so it was very easy to walk to. No restaurants or cafes, so take a picnic if needed. We spent about 45 minutes here just to observe and relax a bit.

This is a really beautiful lake just a few miles from lake Minnewanka. After seeing lake Minnewanka take the loop round and make it a point to spend some time here. It is less crowded and in its own way even more beautiful. Parking was not a problem. There were families that had come to spend the entire day. There are a few picnic tables. One can swim, paddle boat, canoe on the lake.
