We received a tip to take the gondola at the ski resort across from Lake Louise and thrilled we did. Apparently this is a happy place for Grizzly Bear and we did see one - thankfully from far above in the gondola. There are a few hiking paths once on top and amazing views of course back to the lake... More

The view was amazing from the top , but out gondola actually got stuck for 10 minutes about 5,000 feet up the mountain, that was nerve wracking, but the restuaraunt at the top was one of the best experiences we've ever had

In summer take the gondola ride to the top. The view is amazing. Saw a grizzly bear grazing below the lift. We worth the time.

We were not sure if we would make it for this ride. But fortunately we reached there in time and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We took an open gandola for the ride uphill and a closed one for downhill. The uphill ride didn't have a great view but we were fortunate to see one grizzly bear on... More

The view of Lake Louise from the top of the mountain is just spectacular and we can view our hotel from the back.

I love going to Lake Louise. We usually grab some Costco tickets and head up for the day. So much selection for runs. I love the backside. Go you won't be disappointed. Just pack a pack a lunch it is ugly expensive to eat there.

My dad, sister and I skied here one day, then Sunshine the next day, and we definitely loved it here more. The skiing was great and it was a warmer day when we went so we only needed long sleeves! There is also a place halfway down the mountain (I forget what its called) where you can stop to get... More

This was our families first ski holiday. The lake Louise ski resort instructor we hired for a private lesson was extremely patient with us. Unfortunately I am not a skier. No fault of his and through no lack of trying. I can fall spectacularly though. The kids really enjoyed the facilities offered. The creche was good. And the beginner slope... More

Along with Sunshine Village we were bowled over by the skiing here. Fabulous runs; easy for children and challenging enough for more experienced skiers. Great for mixed ability groups as it's easy to join up.
