Beautiful area and lake

We hiked from the base of Lake Louise to Plain of Six Glaciers and then over to Lake Agnes and the Tea House. Great hikes and both can easily be done together.

The hike is tough but so worth it. Take your time, rest if needed but somehow get to the top to see this beautiful lake. The best day of our week long trip. We enjoyed the tea house and just sat by this gorgeous lake for over an hour enjoying the view sipping our tea/cocoa. Spectacular!!

A simple hike and a beautiful lake (two lakes - adding the mirror lake). Length one hour uphill, 45 minutes downhill. Unfortunately very crowded. Nearly now space available in the lovely tea house.

After climbing all the way up the mountain it is hard to imagine that there would be another lake that high up. It is tranquil and peaceful.

This is such a beautiful hike, with lots of good opportunity to stop along the way and take pictures. We were lucky enough to hear the rumbling of the glaciers, which added to the experience. Once you reach Lake Agnes enjoy a great cup a tea and head down the path to Little Beehive. Great to see the Teahouse from... More

This is a 2.5 mile upward hike to this lake. We arrived when it was fogged in, but thankfully after awhile the fog lifted. This does not last long so you have to be lucky and just hope it doesn't rain/snow. I did the trip for the hike do I was not disappoint noted.

Driving to Lake Louise was more of a challenge- be prepared to have patience. We arrived around 12:30 had lunch at the hotel and started the climb shortly after. The 1,256 ft climb up is worth it - it will take an hour to climb to the top. Skip the Tea House unless you can wait, have cash and want... More

We walked up to Lake Agnes this morning. We left Lake Louise at about 8am and we had many stops on the way. When we arrived at Lake Agnes the tea house wasn't very busy about 9:50am. On our way down beginning at 11:00am there were many other walkers in their way up...tea house would have been very busy. Mirror... More

It's a 3.5-4 hrs round trip and classified as a moderate hike but worth every minute! We stopped for quite a while at mirror lake on the way up too which still had snow on its banks. To make it a round trip we went up the steep path to the left of mirror lake and back down the other... More

This hike was uphill all the way but every step we took was worth it to see Lake Agnes! I wish the Teahouse had been open but it was too early in the season. The lake was still covered in ice but it's beautiful no matter!
