This is a very nice camp ground on the Travers reservoir. There is good fishing, a nice beach, lots of space for biking and hiking. Good for families and not too noisy.

The people running this place are friendly and the grounds are nice but they are grossly misguided. A provincial park doesn't need to nickle and dime taxpayers. Pay showers, pay reservation fees and yes when that's all paid up, pay more to dump. Absolutely ridiculous...More

Very nice family campground. They have a lake, which is excellent for small kids. You will need to bring everything, as not much near the campground.

It is a quiet place where you can ride your bikes, hike around or go for a nice swim in an Alberta lake. If you are from BC or Ont don't expect much from any Alberta lake.

Loved this campground. It reminded me of the provincial campgrounds in BC, lots of trees and even a sandy beach with a large swimming area. Great dock and boat launch. Large sites, some with power, no water hook ups though. No internet unless you drive...More

Maybe it was just the time of year, but we booked 2 sites (no services) for 4 nights in August but went home after one night. The "outhouse" style washrooms near our sight were dirty and smelled terrible. There were a LOT of wasps which...More

I would've given a higher rating if the beach area was nicer. Unfortunately seaweed has covered most of the swimming area which made it difficult to enjoy swimming.

Visited the beach with another family. By early afternoon it was a busy place. There are a few trees around the beach for shade. There's a small pit toilet near the beach, no change rooms. The beach concession had bait and ice cream. During our...More

I will give it 4 star if I had kids. First of all, we reserved online. Some ppl say this campground has lots trees, in certain areas yes. But if you want power, ur site will be pretty much an open field. Second, 2 couples...More
