Beautiful nature as a cure for the soul and the body as well. Unreal mountain landscapes in the middle of the Mediterranean.

Highlight of our family holiday
Sep 2018 • Family
We had the most lovely adventure as a family visiting this lovely little bridge! We went early, braved the narrow road way, (take it slow and it's fine) to the village of Ascu and followed the signs by car to the bridge. You must stop and continue by foot for last 20 min or so, walk down and steep walk back! But worth each step. Take lots of drinking water, snacks, beach shoes! We had an adventurous 3 year old and a 7 year old. Both enjoyed this visit lots:) quiet, calm, not too many people, cool clear water, climbing rocks, beautiful!

A highlight. Lovely bridge, river, water and walk.

15 mins walk to the bridge from the village of Asco, which itself was about a 30min drive up a narrow but quite drivable paved road. The walk from Asco is down quite a steep hill, but on a paved road largely closed to cars or very quiet. The bridge and gorge are stunning. Clear, very clean water. Swimming in the river and pools, lots of opportunity for jumping, refreshing but not cold. We loved it with our three kids (10, 9 and 7). Worth a detour for a couple of hours adventure.

Fantastic views but be prepared

What a beautiful gorge. I must warn those with a faint heart though, the road to Asco is chilling. It's in good condition but with no guard rails and basically one lane, you hope to have it to yourself. It's worth it though as once in Asco village you can enjoy a typical Corsican lunch.

Absolutely breathtaking

Corse has it all, beaches and mountains. I love it... the corse was good to drive. Be aware the road is a bit small.

Nature and a nice village
Jul 2014 • Couples
We went in Asco valley from Corte. The road was very narrow and in some places it would be difficult to meet another car (but no problem). During the journey you can admire the untouched nature, stop to relax or to make some photos of the gorges. After about 10 km we reached Asco. The village was like the time had stopped here (but there was a post office). We chose the best restaurant (there is only one, of course) and had a super lunch. What a nice day.
