This has got to be the best market around. The stalls fill all the small streets and the atmosphere is great. Food, gifts, jewellery, clothing, shoes, plants etc etc etc. Plenty of free parking around the village. Great fun and not to be missed. Only negative.........More

A very nice place to purchase or just admire local ingredients from farmers and small producers. From bread to fruits, vegetables, meat and cheese!

A fantastic Sunday market with plenty of parking if you get there before 1030. Numerous stalls selling everything from wooden watches to textiles fruit veg and loads of decorative stuff. It gets crowded but it’s worth a trip. We decided to go back midweek for...More

Issigeac A fine example of a well maintained medieval village with architecture and character, houses and streets to explore, admiring the details on the houses, and the numerous half-timbered properties. The Sunday morning market in Issigeac is a popular place to buy and try many...More

Fortunately I had seen s previous review about crowds, so we rose early and were there by 9am. Parking was easy. By 11am it was heaving and people were parking everywhere. Advice....get there early.

The first traders start setting up at about 6 am. With narrow streets they have to get their vans in and out before the next in can set up. So some are ready to take your money by 7.30
