Lung Cu Flagpole is a must-see destination when traveling to Ha Giang. Standing on top of the flagpole, looking at the Vietnamese flag fluttering in the blue sky, I clearly felt the national pride. From here, you can admire the majestic mountains and beautiful terraced fields below. The road up to the flagpole is a bit steep and requires a bit of effort, but the view at the top is completely worth the effort. A memorable experience for those who love to explore and want to conquer the northernmost point of the country

The trip to Lung Cu Flagpole was one of the most memorable experiences in my journey to explore Ha Giang. Standing at the headland of the Fatherland, seeing the red flag with a yellow star fluttering in the wind gave me an indescribable sense of pride. To reach the top of the flagpole, I had to climb over 400 steps, but the wonderful scenery of the surrounding mountains and forests made all my fatigue disappear. This is an important historical and cultural site, well worth a visit when you come to Ha Giang.

Lung Cu Flagpole is the northernmost point of Vietnam, a place that everyone wants to visit at least once. The feeling of standing at the foot of the flagpole and watching the red flag with yellow star fluttering in the blue sky is a very special experience. The road up to the flagpole is quite steep and tiring, but the scenery along the way with green terraced fields and small villages creates a beautiful natural picture. This is truly a place where you can feel the sacredness of the Fatherland's border.

Arriving at Lung Cu Flagpole, I was truly overwhelmed by the majestic scenery of the mountains and forests of Ha Giang. This is the northernmost place of Vietnam, carrying the sacred meaning of territorial sovereignty. The process of climbing the flagpole is somewhat challenging with high steps, but the feeling of standing on the top, watching the national flag fluttering in the windy sky is truly emotional. An iconic destination and the pride of the Vietnamese people

The tower itself is not much to write home about but the views are amazing. The road to the tower has now mostly been finished and it is a nice ride. Avoid public holidays as the place is heaving on those days. Easy side trip from Dong Van.

Pretty cheap 25k vnd to go up the flag pole - nice height but the view of China isn't so special. The ride there is the best bit, prob an hour or so each way.

Cool view and worth the long hike up!
Do not miss during the loop.
Things to note: you can bike to the halfway point, and the toilets only exist at halfway despite being signposted at the bottom.

We walked up all the steps from the very bottom! There are a lot of them perhaps more than 500! We discovered on arrival at the little shop that we could have driven up 1/2 way!!!
The place is clean there is a charge to get to the top to see the view, the view is amazing but nothing else to do there.
We had a drink on the way down. Total visit is about 50 mins.
Toilets are in need of a good clean and some running water.

Alone the drive through the beautiful area to the flag tower is worth the visit! From the tower you can see very far and admire mountains and rice fields! During the week you can drive to the foot of the tower, on the weekend you have to go allegedly walk a bit!

It's really far when I was born in Saigon but coming here and walking each stair by myself, felt proud of my country and myself cause it's the top of the North in Vietnam. Great view when you reach the top

The road condition to Lung Cu Flag Tower is very bad, should ride more carefully. Other than rough patches, this particular stretch has poor visibility due to the foggy weather.

The lung cu flag tower is an incredible spot with a great legend behind the landscape in which it's situated. There's a lot of steps but if you motorbike there it's a good way to stretch your legs. It costs 20k to enter which is super cheap. The ride back down the hill makes the trip worth it in itself. The views are beautiful all the way

the road to the tower is the worst. they are still building road so expect narrow road as heavy machinery flooded the road, i'm talking excavators, trucks and asphalt machine. many cobbles big rocks, and landslide. once you're on the tower you could see the china vietnam border and the scenic hills surrounding it
