One of a handful of restaurants on the south end of the Nuevo Vallarta marina, this family run Cafe was a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning, looking out at the tranquil marina. We use to go there every time we visited the area. Unfortunately, we found it closed on our last visit in May 2019. Their Facebook page indicates this is still the case. Hopefully they will be able to reopen after the current pandemic comes to an end.

We stopped by to see the new concept and design. Looks like some of the old world charm will be gone...and something more modern and. upscale is planned. WE have loved our many visits to this cafe and hope to come back and see the new place. Warm wishes to the owners and hope to see the wonderful art and music return to the cafe too!

As an owner, I have heard about this place for years and that I should try it. It is located right inside the Nuevo Vallarta Marina in the pathways (behind Porto Bello and 8 Tostadas).
I came here on a Sunday, I was greeted with warmth as behind the background played a charming woman 70s and 80s classics on her piano and that day happened to have additional singer who covered some classical Andrea Bucceli and so forth. I have to say it was awesome. GREAT VIBE. And the FOOD WAS AWESOME!
They have a variety of fresh squeezed juices (mandarin juice is amazing). They have a variety from Classic Mexican Traditional Breakfasts to Classic American Breakfasts along with waffles and pancakes. I rarely eat pancakes because they drag me down, but this was PHENOMENAL. It was a light batter and cooked perfectly between the shape of a hotcake and the texture of a crepe. It was absolutely lovely. The eggs were fantastic and the coffee kept pouring. The music + service + food + ambiance of the marina = THE PERFECT SUNDAY BRUNCH
I cant speak of lunch or dinner but I know that this is "A MUST GO TO" for breakfast and especially Sunday Brunch to catch the musical treat. Delicious breakfast varietal and very mellow vibe. Great for groups and family breakfasts.

The casual, sophisticated atmosphere is magic. Lovely soft jazz, open-air covered patio, upscale casual, very fresh food, exhibition kitchen, personal service, great entertainment, artist's studio on premises, art exhibits every Saturday in season, special musical guests, go anyway - even if they don't answer their phone!!!

The food is always good, with reasonable prices and wonderful staff. The artwork on site is an added bonus; a very talented family which seems to do it all. Brunch is great, with the world's best french toast. Steak fajittas are a must dish when available.

Oh my gosh! Where do I start??? So we found this place on Trip Advisor and had to go check it out. My husband and I went to the cafe (like goody tourists that we are) we asked to see the artist, Leon DeVega. We got to meet him!! He showed us his art and spoke of the meaning of several pieces. He owns the cafe but his studio is right there. He also brought out his wife to meet us. They are such a nice couple! We are trying to decide on a piece he will do for us.

While there we ordered the chicken quesadillas. OMG fresh and perfect! My husband also had a chocolate shake. He said it was better than any he’s ever had....and he’s one picky person when it comes to shakes 🙄. Highly recommend this place. It’s clean, fresh food and the view of the marina is awesome.

We have been to this restaurant several times in April. Our lunch was a delicious salad and tortilla soup. The soup was just average.Their breakfast menu is not extensive however the food is fresh and their omelets are very tasty. Prices are reasonable. A great little gem tucked away in the marina area. The owner is also an artist. He is just delightful. I love this place and will be back!

This place has THE BEST morning coffee and delish French toast! At night the mauhi mauhi is so good! It is grilled with nuts and a delish sauce! My husband especially loves the coconut shrimp night! Mondays, make a reservation as it fills up quick! Lu Le we love you and your family! This is such a sweet place... Don't be in a hurry, all meals are gourmet and cooked to order, this is not fast food. Its a dining experience with reasonable prices!
