Took my Open Water certification with Vallarta Adventures a few years ago, then my Advanced Certification a couple of years ago. I now have over 50 dives in with various companies, in various locations, under various conditions and a couple of things now stand out for me: 1) I received the very best of instruction for both of my certifications... My wife and I went on the Marietta Eco Adventure. IMPORTANT NOTE: I have gone before and was able to go enjoy the gidden beach. As of now, at least, Mexico Govt has closed the island to all foot traffic and beach use which isn't really advertised. That kinda sucked. Oh well tho!!! For $49USD each, my wife and I... More

While on a family vacation in PV, I took a day to go diving with Vallarta Adventures. The whole trip was fantastic- the staff were friendly, funny, and professional. We dove El Morro and El Morrito. The equipment and guiding was top notch! My dive master was Carlos (from Spain)- he was fantastic- clear in his directions and great at... More

What a fabulous day! Today was my first time to SCUBA and I had a fabulous time with Vallarta Adventures. I was down 52 min and my maximum depth was 42 feet. I saw eels, rays, stars, and fish of all kinds. And I was nervous but never afraid with my instructor at my side. I can't wait to go... More

Avoid the risk. All Marin activities are combined caotically in one boat. Scuba equipment don't just look bad but don't get the required maintainance as well. Dangerous. We went down as a group of four , without assignment of buddies as requested. After 10 to 15 minutes of dive my regulator failed and blocked air flow. I had to swim... More

We did a daytime dive at Los Arcos and the sea lion dive at Las Caletas. I can not say enough good things about the crew and the dive team. The weather wasn't great the day we went to Los Arcos, but everyone did the best they could. The diving was alright, but I do not recommend this for beginners... More

What a great location to take a two dive adventure. Staff was experienced, interested in safety but knew how to make the best use of our time near the wall. Open areas as well as caves where fish variety was plentiful. On the boat ride back, lots of food, fun, music and dancing were available and my two older teens... More

Diving here in Vallarta is amazing, with plenty of small and large sea life. with 2 distinct seasons it has something for everyone. Some people are put off by bad visibility reports but the water quality is great and you just need to check with your local scuba instructors to get an idea of conditions when you are there as... Had a great day out today with the Vallarta Adventures team, no scuba diving for us but did snorkelling, trip to a hidden beach, kayaking and paddle boarding. Had the pleasure of being with Oscar and his team on Boat 5 - is it just me or does he look like a Mexican Ferris Bueller? As always with these trips,... More
