Great beach but very sandy in water

Water is not blue but very nice beach. You can rent jet skis from hotel and make an awesome time out of it. Parasailing also available. Beautiful sunsets

I like the beach and the warm water and its waves. We spent 3-4 hours each day in the water. Excellent beach ever! Sunset at the beach is a bonus view for Pacific Ocean. The sand is so soft. We're lucky that we had all 5 sunny days in August. It rained in the evening / night only.

Awesome beach. This was my first time to visit Nuevo Vallarta. I would return. Gorgeous sunsets. Loved it.

However, the river nearby makes the sea look and feel very dirty - no crystal clear blue waters you would expect from a Pacific beach.

This is a long stretch of smooth flat sand. You can walk for miles. No rocks or sharp drop offs. The sunsets over the water are amazing.

Nuevo Vallarta is on the Pacific Coast in Bahia de Banderas Bay. There are several rivers going in the ocean here and in raining season (summer) a lot of trash, natural and plastic comes down the river and ends up on the beach. Beach resorts and hotels are doing there best to recollect it every morning..a quite thanksless task but... More
