Very well maintained!! The sand is clean and it's nice for swimming. We were able to kayak. I would recommend!

very nice beach, though i missed the blue sea. the water is fine, but many many many stingrays. the sand was not the softest, so i had a hard time walking without flipflpops cuz it hurt my feet. also saw a lot of dead fish while walking on the beach.

Had a great time at Nuevo Vallarta Beach. Beautiful sand beach that you can walk or run for miles. The turtles coming to nest and the hatchlings going out to sea only make it that much better. Highly recommend walking down to area by Luma (hotel or resort?) to see the turtle sanctuary. They have a program where they teach... More

I have been coming here for years and despite the growth of great resorts this is still my favorite. Lots to do if you want but also very relaxing. Gentle surf and safe ocean conditions make this a great family destination. Best time to visit is November - March. June - October can be very hot and humid.

We spent many hours walking the beach. Everyone was very friendly. The vendors were polite and not overly pushy.

The beach was a 3/5 minute walk. Great surf (just rifght for us sprightly older folks). Drink and food service was excellent. Plenty of lounge chairs.

Lovely open beach with opportunity to swim safely and take long walks! We had the opportunity to see the little baby turtles hatching and making their way down to the ocean! What an experience!

You can kayak, parasail, snorkel, or boogie board,,,the water is not as clear as eastern side of Mexico but just as wonderful . Sand is brown, not while. The turtles lay their eggs here and if you go out after ten sometimes you can see the mothers laying their eggs and the enviornmentalists get them before they are damgaged. We... More

The expanse of the beach is amazing. The Grand Mayan has many family facilities along their private portion of the beach
