This is the shoe plaza in the downtown area. Nice but limited. The new Shoe Outlet is a massive place.

Very modern and clean facility. Our friends found a lot of American friendly items to purchase. Much different atmosphere than the mercado next door. Little disappointed none of the shops would accept the discount coupon the hotel gave us. The coupon did not state any restrictions..

If you're looking for shoes this is the place for you! All products are made locally in the Leon área, with great prices. It is well worth walking down the Street to the área around the bus station and browse the seemingly endless leather shops which besides shoes sell nice jackets, purses, suitcases, briefcases, etc, etc.

This "shoes mall" is definitely overrated. Nothing special about the stores or the shoes they offer. I recommend that you spend your time elsewhere.

I didn't see any good deals or even better prices here than you would find in a regular Mexican mall. Better off going elsewhere.

I ended up exploring Plaza del Zapato and the whole surrounding area. There are lots of shoes and bags, mostly synthetic and not very modern. A friend told me Plaza del Zapato was the old area, head to Mulza Outlets. It was GREAT with 100's of shoe shops- men's, women's and children's, sporting, fashion, business and cowboy boots. I picked... More

This small to medium sized leather products mall sits on the main intersection entering the very large Zona Piel. The shops are your basic corporate style without much character. From our experience, shopping the "zona" is more fun and has a great deal more character.

I think it is a nice place to shop for leather shoes and accessories. I also have to mention that you have to have the time to look around and compare prices. I spent about two hours in here and I did not get to go to every store I wanted to go (because they were about to close). Also,... More

The whole first floor is cowboy boots! Literally, 30 stores selling nothing but cowboy boots or some type of leather shoe. Walk around the corner and go to a side street vendor an save 66% Pick me up two pair of cowboy boots one pair of Don Chuy rattlesnake (1100 pesos) in Celaya and the other pair was ostrich skin...
