this might be the longest beach in the entire area. most of the other beaches tend to be pretty small and do not offer much walking opportunities, but this one sure does. it reminds me a bit of some Southern California beaches that seem to...More

This is a great location to enjoy a cold drink and watch the sunset. There are many small bars and restaurants along the beach. It seems to be a haven for backpackers as there are many spots for tents and small rental accommodations. The vibe...More

Laid-back to the max. Funky beach bars with just the basics. Hot sun at noon and perfect evenings. absolutely beautiful water. Bring a book and hang out.

We spent as relaxed few days here. Laid back and blissfully quiet in the shoulder season. Cute town and beautiful beach.

I have been to 80 different nude beaches and Zipolite is by far, my favorite. It is a similar vibe to Little Makaena Beach, Maui. The past 2 years, far more people, all ages, are going nude and there is a comfort level here of...More

Not a great swimming or snorkeling beach, but nice for walking and good restaurants. We walked there from Puerto Angel, a short but demanding walk. Took the Connectivo truck on the return trip for just 8 pesos! An adventure in itself.
