Definitely worth a visit! Lots of Talavera pieces, Day of the Dead figurines, t-shirts and more. Even tequila tasting.

A good variety of wares. Prices are (mostly) reasonable. Helpful, but not pushy, sales people. Apple Maps puts this on the wrong side of the railroad tracks. Just cross the tracks from where it takes you!

This is a small border town in Mexico. It was fun for a day or two but I wouldn't stay longer than that. Cholla Mall was much nicer than the main tourist area in the port. They had a little nicer shops and a quieter atmosphere. We found a nice restaurant there that we returned to several times, Mariachis & Taquilla Grill.

If you are looking for good prices on some metal art (picture below) then you need to hit the very first shop at the end of the street - right hand side coming from the resorts at Sandy Beach. Its a large ‘shop’. You can see he makes everything himself, it’s not reproduction pieces - or stamped out. Plus the deals are great with him. We really weren’t looking for anything else, but we did walk up and down the entire drive, and prices were better than you would find by the elsewhere. Do bargain better than us - my hubby feels guilty I guess - because we were getting such a good deal anyway. All pictured below we got for $120 - the flowers are really large pieces. The sun is a fairly good sized piece. The standing flowers are about 2 ft tall. In any case, we felt it was a really good deal for everything we purchased. A vendor on the beach wanted to charge just $40 for one simple piece. - um no.
