Nice view of the city, day or night. Try to avoid to go up during the day (10am to 4pm from may to September) to avoid the strong sun. Small parking lot and a nice ice cream store which opens only at night.

Hermosillo is a city in the middle of the Sonora desert 🌵 Mexico. A northern MEXICAN gateway which doesn't offer many man made attractions but good to a lot of great natural ones like San Carlos and Kino Bays. The Cerro de la Campana is a hilltop "mirador" built on a grand rocky hill which rocks sound like bells .... More

Difficult to find the road that takes you up the mountain but then when you do it's a winding road up to the lookout spot on the top. Lots of teens and young people on dates, taking in the city lights. Lots of trash everywhere which really was too bad.

This is a great place to have a full view of Hermosillo. I have done it both at day and night. Both recommended. If you go during the winter take your jacket because when the wind picks up it feels cold.

The view is spectacular from any side but be wary of the local municipal police department. They have mouths to feed and aren't afraid to ask you for a donation for whatever random excuse they can come up with as they patrol the area

It's worth the drive up the Cerro de la Campana to take a look out over Hermosillo. This is a solid working town, not such a tourist place. But that's what makes it interesting! You can see the old downtown area below you and then the various neighborhoods as they spread out from that. I live in Bahia de Kino,... More

Its a nice place, has a nice view, you can take some cool photos and that's it. When I went there the only place that sells water was closed and the sun was really strong. Its worth the visit, yes, but plan a short visit and bring some water.
