With 30+ years of experience as a sommelier, Celine was able to answer all of our questions about which wine to drink when, how to taste wine, and which wine to pair with with cuisine. Our time in Provence was even more special because of Celine's planning and follow-up with wineries, chefs, and olive oil tasting. The hotel we were staying at in Provence referred us to Celine. After exchanging emails back and forth to plan our trip she made us aware that she was the head sommelier at a Michelin three star restaurant. She has expert level knowledge and personal experience of wines from around the world, plus personal experience and relationships with the wineries in the villages we visited. I could have spent a week with her touring wineries in the region if I had the time. As it was she ended up spending extra time with us than we originally planned. I highly recommend a tour with Celine for any level of wine knowledge you may have, she adapts to her audience. I have an extensive wine cellar and a pretty good knowledge of French wines and I still learned an enormous amount during our day with Celine.

Celine Viany spent three wonderful days with our group of girlfriends introducing us to the joys of wine, food, and culture in Provence. With 30+ years of experience as a sommelier, Celine was able to answer all of our questions about which wine to drink when, how to taste wine, and which wine to pair with with cuisine. We were fortunate to have 2 1/2 days of touring and tasting with Celine in May 2024.

This was a full day private tour that my wife and I took in the Rhone Valley of France. Just the two of us and Celine. We not only learned a great deal about Rhone wines but also about how to properly taste them. In addition to an amazing tour by a certified sommelier, we were treated to an entertaining history lesson on the region. We have done wine tastings and tours all over Europe and California over the last 30 years, this was simply the best ever.

We had the BEST day with Céline! We did the Grand Cru tour that took us through Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. We learned so much and had so much fun seeing the region through a local's eyes. Céline is truly an expert and a wonderful teacher. We learned the ins and outs of wine tasting and she patiently answered every question we had while keeping the day fun and light the entire time. I simply can't recommend the experience (and Céline) enough, it was everything we hoped for and more. I would absolutely book another tour with her!

Céline was wonderful! We were in France for two weeks and the wine tour we did with Céline was definitely the best part of our trip. She was so knowledgeable, but not pretentious. Taught us how to taste wine properly, how to read a French wine label and other nuances of French wine culture. We live near Napa, California and visit often, but I learned so much more about wine after just two days with Céline than the 8 years we spent living near Napa.
We did a full day in Châteaunuef-du-Pape, then another day in Gigondas, Vacqueryas and the surrounding area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Celine was friendly, knowledgeable and provided an extraordinary experience for us. We know wine a bit, but we learned so much more from her. She was gracious, energetic, and had great stories to tell. She taught us without any pressure or making us feel like those “Americans”. She was amazing. She helped us learn the wines and the regions, and did not provide a hard sell, but works with her clients to get wine shipped back to them if they want after thinking about it. Just a fabulous time and host.

Celine is wonderful in every way. At first we thought we knew way too little to even go to wine tastings. However, Celine explained everything very well and we learned so much during our two days with her. If we ever decide to go back, Le Vin a la Bouche will definitely be our choice again.

Celine Viany was recomended to us by another wine tour that we had checked into on line that was booked up for the dates we were looking at,which turned out to be in our favour! I contacted Celine via email and she was very prompt to reply with all the info I was looking for. We decided on the wine & cheese tour which was a full day tour out of Avignon. She picked our little group, 3 ladies, up at a selected spot in a very roomy, air conditined clean van and off we went. All I can say is we had the best day, very informative,got to taste wine right from the first crush on and an excellant real French Bistro lunch and a visit to the actual goat farm for the cheese tasting. I would highly recomend Celine's tour to anyone the least bit interested, she takes you right from the vine to the winery.
