Except for the man made area with geo tubes, there is nothing but rock. It's pretty but not a place to swim or walk the beach.

Very nice beach calm clear waters. Swim out to the reef and snorkel you will not be disappointed! Lots to see and the reef looks better than Akumals.

The beach is clean, small, and safe. It is not totally isolated from the natives, but I never saw any. There are rock docks to minimize waves. Very kid safe. No point snorkling.

I saw people swimming there , so think that there is no problem at all. There are no sharks or anything dangerous like that. The water is quite shallow also just beyond the breakers. You will enjoy.
