lots of flea market shops, overpriced and they don"t barter at all.
beach is nice to walk on.
They have mexican male dancers on the ground and they also climb up a pole probably 60Ft. in the air they hang from ropes and do different positions very entertaining. We saw them perform around 1030-11 am. and in the afternoon.
there little crocodile area is nice with some very long crocodiles. Nice birds especially the Rose Spoonbill Heren birds.

This is a great place to visit for the day. The water is calmer. We went on a Saturday, so it was really busy with all the locals coming with their families.
There's also a coral reef within walking distance, if your are interested in snorkeling.
They have chairs, umbrellas, tables, etc. Also drinks and food are available.

We traveled here from Ixtapa twice. We caught the local bus for 14 pesos each. The water taxi over the the island was about 10 minutes. We visited the second beach and walked 100 meters to a third beach to snorkel. We saw lots of fish but the coral isn't very colorful. This beach was quite rocky so be careful. The second beach was absolutely beautiful for swimming and the view of the hills on the mainland was spectacular.

The beach is big and nice hard sand to walk on and make sandcastles. Market at the pier is very cool, but zihua is cheaper for everything thats there if you are already going. The croc pen is awesome to see as well.

For a public beach it exceeded my expectation. Very clean and safe, for the most part off of the beaches in the ixtapa area were clean and safe during the daylight. I would recommend ixtapa beaches hotels and restaurants for a family trip.

Spent a Saturday there with all the locals and their families. This is a beautiful beach to walk and to swim at. Lots of places to eat, go parasailing, or ride the banana boat. Quick 14 pesos bus ride from Ixtapa. You can also enjoy the crocodiles that are in the lagoon there. They are penned up!

As soon as you get off the bus, there is a platform you can walk to,and there are crocodiles ,and wood storks and bright pink Spoonbills. Amazing to see. Walking from the platform you can see some of the biggest Iguanas I've ever seen. There are of course wonderful market shops and look for the Mexican Indian Pole where they spiral down from 60 meters I believe it was. Take the ferry over to Ixtapa Island. All was an amazing visit for both my wife and myself. We were never bored, we went there three times.

Long flat beach in front of the Azul Resort. The sand is dark and hard packed. Easy to walk on. Lots of water activities on the beach (para-sailing, banana boat rides, sea-dos). Some restaurants and shops at the north end of the beach along with the crocodile reserve.
Pier for water taxis to Ixtapa Island also at the North end of the beach. Local fisherman bring their catch by their pier each morning.

We rent bikes from downtown Ixtapa hotel zone. They have well-built bike path all the way to the Playa Linda. It is a long beach good for swimming. Also, there is an area fenced around with lots of crocodiles and turtles inside. Lots of exotic birds on the trees. Around the beach, there are lots of vendors selling drinks and snakes. The bike trail is shaded by trees that made is very pleasant to ride. It took about 40minutes each way very easy. Bike rental is about 60 peso an hour with helmet direction included.
