This beach was adjacent to my hotel. I walked down the service road and public access lane beside Club Med. While there were many people on the beach, they were spread out and I was able to hang out on my own. The view of the rocks was great and there were lots of pelicans there. Kids seemed to enjoy... Beautiful walk down Playa Quieta beach. Nice little restaurant to stop for food / drinks on your way down. Make sure to go here at least one evening around 6:45 p.m. for the beautiful sunset.

This is a small beach bordering the property of Club Med. It is very quiet, very few vendors, and the water is usually calm. It is really lovely.

Beaches are shorter than some (e.g. Nyarit Vallarta) but are still very nice. Warm water with some sandy stretches ; can be rough at times but is swim able. Not really a snorkelling beach

If you want good service and good food, I recommend you go to a different resort! ! Same food served 2 days in a row . Should bring your own lounge chair if you want to lounge by pool, not enough there. Learn Spanish because there is only a few workers that speak a little English. Pool bar is closed... More

My wife and I got up early to go exploring, we decided to go left from The Azul Grand to this beach. Very nice, took about an hour or so to walk and explore. Waves weren't too bad but we just went shin level. Massage hut right at start of beach.

Very nice beach. Water is calm unlike many other beaches in Ixtapa. Nice clean sand beach once you get away from the entrance from the street. Gradual drop off. I believe the beach is sheltered by Ixtapa Island which makes the waves not so high and rough. great swimming beach. We stated at the Azul Grand which is right next... More

Before you go, plan way ahead by ordering from your city library a book out-of-print: Judith Bruns' HIDDEN BEACHES OF MEXICO [Univ. of Cal-Berkley Press- 1070s]. This is one of her hallmark beaches [God bless her now departed soul].
