This beach is in the hotel zone in Ixtapa. It is very clean and a good place to relax. Not many vendors on the beach, which makes it more relaxing. This is not a swimming or snorkeling beach. Only black and red flags were out...More

This is a very busy beach... lots of beach activities. The waves are too dangerous to stay in the water. We tried to swim pass the water break but that did not work. Must be careful! Nice for walking.

It's easy to access this public beach. It's pretty long, so you can find a spot to settle down in a lively zone or a quiet zone. here's restaurants and hotels along the edge, but I'm not sure which ones are private or public. There...More

Playa Palmar is a beautiful beach and well taken care of. No glass, styrofoam or pets allowed on the beach to help keep it clean. This year there's more calmer days than crazy waves which is great as you can go in but you still...More

The waves and undertow are very strong much of the time at this beach. It's long, clean and lovely but not really for snorkelling. When we were there we did see some people attempt to snorkel at the south end of the beach... More

We love to body surf and boogie board. We swam every day. The waves were fun all day long. We also surfed 10 minutes away. The beach is NOT flat like a lake. That you will find at Playa Linda or Zihua.
