The waves are never very big-- no rip tides here-- lots of Mexicans with their children-- lots of small fishing boats over night off shore and on shore here. Lotsof Activity. A fun active place to be. A bit of old Mexcio

Spent several afternoons here relaxing and swimming. The access to palapas made it a worthwhile activity. You were very close to restaurants and shopping.

A number of restaurants, pubs plus local fishing boats. Next to the Adoquin where there is local shopping. Nice place to visit, shop or eat.

Puerto Escondido is known for its surfing. Not as big as north shore in Hawaii but still good surfing

I went down there before sunrise and watched the fishermen getting ready for the day. Also lots of birds in the lagoon there. There is a small malecón around the corner which has some good photo ops too.

You will be surprised by the level of activity you can witness on this beach so early in the morning. The fishing boats offer plenty of opportunity for photo shoots. Just enjoy a stroll.
