Beautiful small enclosed beach. No rip tides. Waves normally are not real big. Many venders on the beach for food and drink. Also lounge chairs with an unbrella for a small fee. Some say best beach in Puerto but 163 steps down and then up.

To arrive at this beach, you need to take some stairs, but once you start descending, you have a great view at the beach, is small, beautiful and with waves so that you can surf. At the beach you can find restaurants and all service...More

We enjoyed the beauty of the speech of the only downfall was the steep steps leading down to it and the lack of running water for bathrooms. There are lots of restaurants beachside and you can pay to use a reclining chair for the day!

This is a great beach for children. The waves are big enough for them to play, but not so big it is dangerous. There are surf lessons, food to purchase and chairs to rent. You can also rent paddle boards or even go snorkeling. The...More

Nice beach for swimming or paddle boarding, for $250 pesos you can rent a lounger with umbrella. It can be crowded sometimes. Only downside is the stairs up after a long day in the sun and porta potties.

Though it's hot and humid in Puerto, you can stay cool under the palms on this beach. It will cost you 250-300 pesos for a lounge chair (camas), but if you eat you can stay all day at the tables. We thought the price on...More

Great Beach, low surf for swimming, but the stairs are a B*tch! People do surf here sometimes, but I would think it is just for beginners, b/c I did not witness any huge waves. However while dining at Espidine the evening before, I could look...More

Nice low tide, easy to go swimming or learn to surf. Very crowded however we went on a long weekend. Good food and relaxing day. About 170 stairs to walk down to get to the beach. Then at the end of the day you have...More

Yo creo que sólo en taxi, pero los taxis de calle en Puerto Escondido son muy económicos. Siempre cobran entre 25 y 35 pesos la dejada en la zona de Puerto.
