Great day with vigorous hike through the Belize Rainforest including waterfall rappelling and zip lining with two very hospitable and super experienced tour guides. We highly recommend Roberto and Milton — excellent guides. The tour offered a very challenging hike in the rainforest to the...More

It’s a good hike up to the top of Antelope Falls but very well worth it. The first reward is a swim in the natural “pool”. So clean and refreshing. After a light lunch of panini, home baked cinnamon roll and fresh watermelon you will...More

I suspect you could spend a couple of days exploring the park, but if you can't and you are up for the challenge, I recommend Antelope Falls. From the Visitor's Center it's about a 45 min hike, if it is dry. We walked up the...More

We enjoyed our visit to Bocawina where we hiked, took an exciting rapel tour down a waterfall and did some birding.

This was a great experience. We went for a hike up Bocawina falls and climbed Antelope Falls. We didn’t get to the top of Antelope Falls because it’s very steep at the top and was raining so it got dangerously slippy - I wouldn’t recommend...More

The environment is welcoming. We came here on a retreat and ended up having the treat of a lifetime. The staff is extremely helpful. The ziplining experience was awesome. The waterfall trail is simply amazing. This place is a must visit. The food...exeptional.

We booked this tour through our resort and my husband who wasn't big on the idea of zip lining was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was! We had such a great time zip lining through the canopy of the rain forest. The guides...More

My wife and I had an incredible time here hiking the trails and hanging by the falls. There is plenty of things to see on your adventures here.

Yes. You can hike in the jungle and not have a strenuous hike. There is a pathway that can get near the waterfall without needed rappel to return. Hope this helps. Lots of interesting jungle activity happening, like leaf... More

Too much for a week in Belize? (3 Replies)
Hi friends, I last minute got time to get away from New York and decided on Belize. I'm leaving this Saturday for a week (and am a 34-year-old, female solo traveler). I have nothing planned yet because I can't tell if the transportation between the places I want to go is frequent/efficient or is going to end up being a headache. I want cayes, jungle, waterfall repelling, cave swimming, Garifuna culture and music, yoga and snorkeling. And I'd like to finish on the cayes. Please let me know...More

"... is it feasible to leave Caye Caulker the morning of or do I need to leave the night before?" If you get the first water taxi or an early flight with one of the domestic airlines, you should be able to spend your final night on the caye. Airlines advise to be at the airport 3 hours before the departure time of flights to the USA. "Do I need to book accommodations and travel to and from in advance or can I wing it?" At this time of year, you should be OK if you wing it.

Itinerary (0 Replies)
Hello, My boyfriend and I are heading to Belize (first time going somewhere tropical) for the first time in mid-February for 9 days! Here is our drafted itinerary. I would love feedback/tips! :) Unfortunately, we can't scuba dive so we'll be skipping that. Our priorities are to (1) snorkel and relax on the beach and(2) go hiking/explore natural habitats. We are also open to other new activities. Day 1 - Take Tropic Air from Belize International Airport to Ambergris Caye, check-in to...More
