This Talavera workshop is one of the largest and it has a good collection. However, it took us so long to get there that we were definitely expecting more. We saw same or better quality at the other workshops closer to the city center.

A great place to see the talented ceramic artists works, and you can purchase some of their wares as well. You'll want to fill your homes with the vases, dish ware and tiles.

Hi Fred, yes your right Talavera de la Reyna Gallery is a workshop too, but we are listed as an art museum too, because we have an art collection called "Alarca Collection ", considered the most important in Latin America in this technique, where more...More

This is more an exhibition than a museum, it is very small and it doesn't have too many pieces. Although the store is great and the talavera pottery has superb quality. The pieces are expensive but they worth the price. It has a section where...More

Beautiful spot to learn about the potters' trade (not at the gallery, but across the road at the talleres or workshops). Original works of art that show off some of the best of talavera in Mexico.
