Breathtaking for book lovers. I believe it is the oldest library still in existence in all of North America. And it I spectacular. Look around the entrance for a guide, at least one speaks English and give them a decent tip as that is all they get. It is located just half a block from the zocalo, the main plaza.

The Africam Safari is a great way to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and many other animals in natural habitat. In addition to the drive-through feature, they also have a walk-through section where you can see the tamer animals even closer. My kids especially enjoyed the bird house where colorful birds will land on your hands, shoulders, or head. Of... More

We were astonished by the space the giraffes and monkeys had when we entered the park. Unfortunately, entering the parque of adventure; we saw how the more dangerous animals like lions and other types of monkeys had a very very limited place comparable to any zoo. Was a nice day but I ended up sad about the way we look... More

Beautiful day to visit, the place is nice , clean and the animals are really taken care off. In some parts we felt like Jurassic park because of the doors 😊, they have a lot of animals and some parts you can get out of your car 🚗 and walk around to see them even to take pictures with some... More

Well maintained and many animals. Loved the huge white Rhino and African elephants. Plan to arrive very early so you can watch the animals feed.

I knew very little about Africam Safari, so I never thought my family and I would have such a great time at this place. This a place where cages are a thing of the past, make sure you bring that telephoto lens with you if you enjoy photography because you will never EVER get to take better animal pictures yourself... I visited Africam Safari as part of my Annual Conference of World Association of Zoos and Aquariums from 6 to 14 October 2016. I was really impressed with the vast undulating expanse in which the animals were roaming freely in natural environment. The happiness and satisfaction on the face of visitors, particularly children, was really great. The experience of feeding... More

With the main focus of this zoo being Africa, you drive through the incredibly large park that winds through the different types of habitats that make up Africa. Though the animals that you see appear to be able to walk into other animals' areas, the barriers disappear giving you the feeling that they are all in one big space. There... More
