As one of my first visits to a Baroque-styled church in central Mexico, the Church of Santo Domingo will always be a treasured memory of mine. And my first of two visits here didn't even involve seeing the acclaimed 8th wonder of the world, the...More

The 17th century architecture and stunning Capilla del Rosario (Rosary Chapel) are wonderful: all gilded plaster and carved stone, with angels and cherubim glistening with gold.

A bit of madness and a bit of religion. Baroque overthetop decor and so much real gold. Id rather the gold was given to the poor

The church is absolutely beautiful. The chapel is indescribable. Neither pictures nor words do it justice.

This is where the Capilla del Rosario is. Do not miss it! The rest of the church is nice, but go to the chapel (Capilla) for the best thing to see.

If it weren't for the Rosario Chapel, the church wouldn't be worth visiting. Head for the Chapel even if the sign says it's not open. It was when I visited.

An absolutely unbelievable church, surely one of the finest in the world. The Rosary Chapel simply cannot be missed on a visit to Puebla; it will blow you away. Very unassuming in appearance from the outside, this Dominican treasure will thoroughly delight you once you...More
