This is a fun stop to buy traditional candies. There are many shops, all selling similar things. Nevertheless it’s fun. Plus it’s a fraction of the cost of goodies at the airport if you bring sweets home for friends and family.

We followed the directions on The TripAdvisor map.
These were completely wrong and nowhere near.
The street is Av 6 Oriente but between Calle 4 Nte and Calle 2 Nte

Great place for the sweet tooth and has pretty much everything Mexican when it comes to sugary delights + more.
We were treated to some lovely tastes as we wandered down here late at night.
What also caught my eye was the lovely craftsmanship of the colourful ceramics. Just takes your breath away.
This is a must visit even if you’re not into sweets. It’s a place of colour and vibrancy and leads to so many others great places in Puebla.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.

If you want to buy some candy for a present, you can browse this street. Not sure they manufacture the candy, as it looks all the same.

Be advised the location shown on the map is wrong and not in the best area of town. The actual Calle is on 6th but much closer to the zocalo. Check google maps or other source for location.

Walking distance from the hotel, in the center. So many good places for great candies. Price is nothing and pleasure is great.

The variety of candies, and their strangeness, were fascinating. We purchased a basket of several selections and had a tasting. Worth doing, even if they're not what you're used to.

Nice street but so are many others. Shops around the cathedral sell the same candy for the same prices. Interesting but can be purchased has ed elsewhere.

Not really all that special. Most of the store sell the same stuff. Probably really good if you are nostalgic for traditional Mexican candies. I wasn't.

This was the most ideal to explore Mexican sweets and be schooled with their culture. There are many shops so you won't go wrong with any. Be indulged and must visit when you're here.
