I had an excellent experience at Livit Immersion Center. The entire staff was very friendly, professional and well organized. They keep the number of students in each class low so it makes learning much easier. They serve all the students lunch together so it’s another opportunity to get to know the students from the other classes and practice Spanish. Also the food was great! I also loved that each student is assigned a personal Spanish speaking local guide to spend time with in the afternoons. It was another great way to practice Spanish outside of the classroom. And Puebla was the perfect location. The locals were extremely friendly and easy to talk to and the city had plenty of interesting places to go yet it wasn’t huge and overwhelming. I highly recommend this experience. Don’t bother looking any further, just book this now. You won’t regret it!

I had a great 6-weeks experience at LIVIT immersion center. I can't imagine a better place to learn Spanish and experience Mexico. LIVIT has earned my highest recommendation. Also, consider taking classes online that are personally tailored to your wants and needs. 5/5 Stars!

Livit Immersion Center is an exceptional place to learn Spanish. I spent two weeks there in February, 2024 and my experience was excellent. The school is very professionally run, and the directors and teachers are excellent. My teacher, Fernando, did a wonderful job personalizing the topics for myself and my one classmate, based on our requests and his observations. The lunches at the school were delicious and converient and provided a great opportunituy to get to know other students, something which did not occur readily in the last school I attended in Oaxaca last year. The two hours spent with a personal guide three days per week were very enjoyable. Not only did they provide an additional opportunity to practice speaking Spanish, but the guides were really helpful in explaining things that we were seeing in museums and around the city. Overall the school does an excellent job of immersing students in the Spanish language. It is an intensive program which can be tiring, but the experience really pays off. I also loved the city of Puebla. The streets in the historic center were always filled with Mexican people going about their daily lives; shopping, eating treats, holding hands, listening to music, etc, and it was really pleasant hanging out there. Although there are tourists in Puebla, their presence was not really visible so Puebla felt to me like an authentic Mexican city. I highly recommend Livit Immersion Center and Puebla, Mexico.

The whole team at Livit was incredibly welcoming, professional, and well organized. I enjoyed connecting with everyone and learning tons about Puebla’s unique history and culture along with leveling up my Spanish proficiency. The morning classes, midday meal, free time on weekends, and weekday afternoon excursions with conversation partners made for a perfect combination! I recommend this experience as a solo traveler, like me, and imagine it would be just as fun with a friend or partner.

Livit Immersion Center is an excellent Spanish immersion school. The organization of the school is exceptional, and the teachers are professional, friendly, and helpful. Explanations are carefully and clearly structured and you have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, learn new vocabulary, practice speaking, and improve your listening skills. Class content, which tends to add up pretty quickly, is created to meet the needs and requests of the students in each class. The daily lunches, comida de México, are well prepared, tasty, and diverse. One highlight for me was the opportunity to tour around Puebla in Spanish with a local guide in the afternoon. I really appreciated my time at Livit Spanish school. Thank you and kudos to Maru and Scott and the entire Livit team for making my learning experience at the school so worthwhile, enjoyable and memorable!

LIVIT Immersion Centre, Puebla is genuinely interested that guests learn Spanish. The proof is the care that is taken to immerse you into the language within classes, one on one conversations with guides, and excursions. I was impressed how LIVIT placed me at the correct level with a phone conversation to evaluate my language proficiency. Prior to arriving, I was apprehensive about four hours of class, followed by two more hours one on one. The time flew by! I highly recommend!

Great program. It's truly immersive, which is occasionally uncomfortable, but ultimately rewarding. The school is well run with excellent teachers, educational/entertaining afternoon activities, and even authentic lunches. The classes are small with a relaxed atmosphere. Puebla has lots of history and culture, especially in the colonial center of town. Yet it's not as touristy as some places, which means you can really use the Spanish you've learned. This is the only immersive experience I've had, but would certainly recommend it to other Spanish learners.

I spent a month attending the Livit Immersion Center in Puebla and found it to be a great experience. The owners, the teachers, guides and the workers were all good at their jobs, helpful and very friendly. And, I my ability to speak and understand Spanish improved so I hope to attend the school once again in the not too distant future.

I spent 3 weeks attending Livit, and it was a good experience from the initial contact through departure. The school sent detailed directions and information after I enrolled, and promptly answered any questions. I am a mature woman and never once felt unsafe in Puebla. I stayed in the school's apartment which was a great experience as it is a quiet modern condo, close to the zocalo and within walking distance to anything you may need. It also had a washer and dryer, kitchen supplies and even an iron. The school experience was enriching. I had a great teacher and the class sizes were different each week at 4, 2 and 6. I was skeptical of all the hundreds of 5 star reviews of Livit, found on the internet....they are all true! If you are looking for a Spanish school in a large interesting and beautiful city with very few English speaking tourists this is the school for you!

I have studied twice at the Livit Immersion Center for a total of 8 weeks, and intend to return as soon as possible. The standard of teaching is excellent, with classes tailored to the level of each student. The school is in a great location, and the lunches provided each day are delicious, and provide an opportunity to enjoy and learn about traditional Mexican food. The classes are complemented by regular outings with personal guides (1 on 1), and this is a fantastic way to explore the city while practising your conversational skills with a native Spanish speaker. The weekly guided excursions to historical and interesting sites near to Puebla are very interesting and enjoyable, and are a great way for the students to bond and further practise their Spanish conversation skills. The city of Puebla is also a great place to be, with temperate weather, countless historical sites to visit, and many fantastic restaurants. As a repeat student, I have no hesitation in recommening the Livit Immersion Centre in Puebla as a fantastic place to study Spanish.
