A beautiful open space that is lovely to visit during the day and so beautiful at night when it is lit up. The buildings such as the Palacio de Gobierno depict the richness of the era. It is a lively venue, with vendors nearby, children...More

The plaza is the open space north of the cathedral. The Palacio de Gobierno on the plaza's east side was built in the 18th century for a colonial family. In the turret of its main staircase is a mural of the history of Zacatecas state,...More

We visited in wintertime, the plaza itself was hidden by tribunes, large skating rink and loads of wiring all around. Far too many people for our taste, so we avoided it.

The Plaza de Armas is used for big outdoor concerts at different times of the year. At these times security is tight and there are people everywhere. Concertgoers line up 4-5 hours in advance for popular artists.

Adjacent to the cathedral, this space often house performances of many kinds. With imaginative lighting and dancing waters from its fountain, this busy plaza is worth a visit.

I loved the city, but this plaza doesn't offer anything and is mostly empty. The cathedral is located here and is the only thing to do at this plaza.

Its a plaza, there is music and there is drunk people by night, the place is safe and its worth walking to it on a weekend and just enjoy the place with the locals. During the day is just another plaza.
